To be fair, there's still a few honest taxi driver out and about. But they're most probably out there driving passengers and earning an honest living instead of wasting their time protesting against Uber on that day. When i'm lucky enough to be serviced by these kind of drivers, I'd be more than willing to pay RM30 for a 10 minutes ride. But when they're obnoxious as f*ck, sehinggit pun aku x rela nak kasi

And don't get me started on road rage cases by taxi drivers that I'd experienced. Absolute mental.

I have been used #mytaxi and #uber application quite frequently. in the nut shell, i favor mytaxi more than uber. At least my taxi using visible meter, and uber didnt which in result I have been overcharged. Plus more, uber driver sometimes face problem. Eeeee!

use estimated fare. its accurate.

and during peak hours, the more your fare, the less the driver earns. so most drivers will start the trip late and end early (cheaper for you) during peak hours.

how about when the uber driver never done the application once i arrived and go off? it will continue charging me since it linked to my card. they can charge whatever he want. it happened to me few times no where to complain some more.

I heard from taxi driver, anything happened to the passenger in uber no matter being rogol or accident it will be bear by the passenger themself based on passenger voluntarily entered the car, spad or insurance will not take responsibilities.

cheh normal taxi, if kena rogol or accident, got compensation meh? same thing. accident ma. rogol oso not taxi rogol, is the driver.

Uber drivers are educated and civilised. In fact, Uber has opened up the same rights to taxis to be uber drivers as well.. those are the smart drivers who use their cab to find even more money... I have a lot of assumptions in my head about the group of cabbies who are creating this big fuss about uber...

Exactly educated and civilized, so far for now I haven heard any reall scenarios of Uber car been towed away, but definitely will be taking care of our arses.

Read about it somewhere yesterday.. 50 cars, mainly college students had their cars towed away...

Just read the news as link below, SPAD will disguise as a rider/passenger to request trip for Uber/Grabcar. In that case 100% caught in red handed.

Who know any driver running out of luck and meet SPAD operation? Car will be seize/tow and will be penalty or jail.

Any driver can share whether Uber really go thru background check? Or they just register online, provide driving license & Insurance copy and attend a short briefing. After they can just start driving and taking passenger.

Most my friend had stop driving Uber, and I bet most driver are new blood which driving less then 3 months.

Uber are just good for Rider & Uber Company, the loser are always the driver.
