Immediate impression very much less warmer in operation vs S6E

Just found out my Note4 n older Note3 SPen CANNOT work at all on the Note5. There was absolutely NO response even unable to tap n select
The N5 Spen is however very much improved over Note4 - is much more responsive and writing easily close to writing on paper
Samsung must had made changes to its display n SPen that previous SPen now render useless
I simply love its writing on black screen n find this very handy for short quick notes
The N5 Spen however works well on Note4

Initial is extremely unbelievably good - at about 50% battery usage I had hit 4+ hours SOT ( mainly on wifi) !!! Phone is still in stock rom without any tweaks. On mainly 80+% internet based stuffs with plenty whatsapp and several youtubes. simply couldn't even believe it. On my Note4 ( rooted and with tweaks ) I could only hit 6-7 hours SOT

Fair prices for phones 6-10 months old !!
I will be selling off mine only a month old ! TipTop like day one condition. Am only asking for RM 1.5K - interested ??

Pointless to have 2 Note - right ?? I still have my Oppo R7+ and a big Huawei P8 Max !!

N5 is overall a better phone ( display, performance, camera and initial test better battery life too) BUT it lacks removable battery and ext sdcard

Seriously I couldn't believe it too !! I am still testing other aspects of the phone and phone is now back on charging on original fast charger . Was only using powerbank to charge it since yesterday morning and overnight too
I knew it could be better than my ex S6E ( 5-6 hours SOT) as is obviously not so warm as S6E ( warmest phone I had used)

By far is Smoothest phone I had use even better than ex S6E. Just see my signature for list of phones I had used to understand better.
Other phones seriously no fight. Closest competitor is S6E or LG G4.

LG G4 is a very good alternative. At least it had removable battery n ext sdcard.

BTW Note4 sold n funds received!!

Sold here in lowyat thread after I said I wanted to sell
G4 battery I deemed worser than Note4 by an hour+ less SOT.
U want good battery consider Oppo R7+ easily 8 hours SOT : another good phone for rm1998

WHY so bias on China brands?? Huawei and Oppo are reputable especially HuaWei . HW is world biggest manufacturer of telco equipments and I believe most telcos in the world used their equipment.

My first HW phone was Mate 6.1 - that time I just bought to test . I was very surprised at how stable and reliable the firmware was. Than I move on to X1, Mate 7 and now P8 Max. I had zero issues with their phones. At least it is not full of bloatware vs Samsung. Excellent battery life all these HW phones : SOT - Mate 6.1 6-7 hours, X1 - 10-12 hours, Mate 7 8-10 hours, P8 Max 10-12 hours. And all these phones operating temperatures are cooler than the HTC, Samsung, LG etc

Oppo - first unit was Find 7 : very good phone too except miserable battery life 3-4 hours SOT. They were the first to come out with the QHD display. Its fast VOCC Charging was the fastest than 75% in half an hour ! Similar results too for the R7+
Whether you like it or not China manufacturers are the wave of the future in technology. Do not look them down
And China brands are no longer cheap unless you go and buy those unknown brands - cheap rip off imitations

My experience Note Edge worser battery life vs Note4
I thought you wanted a better battery life phone??

Huawei phones has always the best signals n wifi ....another strength of them being major manufacturers of such equipment
I think your ex Note4 is problematic with all the issues you reported. There are bound to be lemon sets in manufacturing. My ex S6E ( 32gb) I needed to change motherboard in just 2 weeks due to earpiece speaker spoilt n failed to hear anything

Just download the kitkat firmware from sammobile.com. Extract the zip to get the tar file
Copy the tar file to any folder in PC
Download Odin software ( google for it) in PC
Switch off phone n simultaneously press vol down+power button to boot into download mode. Press volup if prompted
Connect phone to PC
Launch odin n just select the tar file as PDA. Leave everything else as default
Press start n phone will flash up within a minute
Your data will remain intact.

TS : please post this guide in page1 n I cannot recall how many times I had reply to such question

Switch off phone
Boot into recovery mode : simultaneously press volup+power button
Select wipe data
Than reboot
You will lose data doing this

What is wrong with lollipop
Why few of u guys are unhappy with it?
I was perfectly happy with it though I was on custom roms. The custom roms are still the same except I get to choose not to install lots of Samsung stuffs
Battery life on lollipop I find even better than kitkat by an hour+ extra SOT

Probably is touchwiz which I never ever used in all Samsung phones. Same goes for HTC, Sony, LG, Asus etc I never use their default UI. My favorite is Nova
