any kind soul that can answer my quest here?

What kind of answer are you expecting? Just schedule the audit session and clarify for the audit reason.

Unless you got things to hide.

guys.... just checking ... we can put in the figure if we are paying for our parents, we will be lpacing the amount here right ?

Perbelanjaan rawatan perubatan, keperluan khas dan penjaga untuk ibu bapa

How about children ? if we are paying for medical fee for children... is there any allocation for these amount too ?
thanks
*
Paying for what? If you're for their medical expenses, special need or hiring a care taker, then you can put the figure. If you're paying for monthly normal allowance, you can file it next year under special provision from Budget 2016.

If monthly expenses.. No documents to prove it, how to file it next year?
*
I think this provision doesn't need documents as long as you have living parents under your car although I don't know how are they going to audit if they wanted to.

sorry guys... must have missed out the proper sentence
guys.... just checking ... we can put in the figure if we are paying the medical expences for our parents, we will be placing the amount here right ?

Perbelanjaan rawatan perubatan, keperluan khas dan penjaga untuk ibu bapa

Question :
1) How about children ? if we are paying for medical fee for children... is there any place for us to fill up these amount too ?
2) Care taker ? Does that apply the same for children's nanny ? I mean, we send our child to nanny... can this claim meh ? Dont think so right ?
Basically issue more on children part smile.gif Dont have any issues with filling up the medical expenses for parents and wondering if we can claim such medical expenses for our child the same way as our parents ?
Thanks and sorry for the confusion smile.gif
*
If you're trying to claim your children expenses under that provision/clause, obviously the answer is a big NO since it is meant for your parents. I don't even think your parents-in-law are entitled too.

However, children under 18 has allotted relieves under another provision.

harlo sifus...

a question

my wife new company for so long did'nt do PCB. she worked there for 2 years already. i did her BE yesterday.

somehow, the summary showed that LHDN owe her around RM30.30. How is that possible as she have never do PCB?

thank you for answer in advance. tried calling LHDN but nobody pickup
*
That RM 30.30 is the tax that your wife needs to pay.

PCB is just an estimation and to ease the burden of taxpayer by deducting monthly from the payslip and remitting it to LHDN. At the end of the day, it's the final annual taxable income that matters despite the monthly PCB deduction.

if can, where should i key in in the e-BE form??
*
Since it's non-taxable, meaning cannot use it for claiming tax relief as well.

Apparently LHDN website is useless as usual.

spotify might not consider as your lifestyle relief, else astro will be deductible as well. anyway, there is no clear guideline from LHDN yet so better wait for their announcement. and theres no confirmation is it on YA 2016 or YA2017.
*
Lifestyle tax relief will only commence from YA2017.

YA2016 is the last year for those who would like to claim for computer purchase (RM 3k every 3 years).

Just finished reading this whole thread. I have a couple of questions,

This year 2017 tax filing is for year 2016?
Company is required to provide estimate of tax payable, I didn't know about that, what should I do now?
*
Yes.
Go find your HR, account payable or pay-related department. Once you have your Tax Ref No (tax file), they will deduct accordingly based on the PCB table from LHDN.

P/S: For employment only
