So the following are scheduled to open next month:

- KFC
- Freshii
- Tealive
- Mr DIY
- 7-eleven

Rumours are ongoing that Starbucks will open a shop as well.

Petron will be built within a year.

Now, where are those people who said this place very hulu la, hutan la, bla bla bla

There is no school nearby 🤦‍♂️ and the commercial lots still empty. it’s a bit creepy at night and the road from highway to GG is not well maintained. Maybe they can do some landscaping..

Well, there is the SJKC and SJKT Kuang schools nearby - they are like 5mins drive away from GG.

The Kundang chinese school is also nearby. Are you expecting schools within walking distance?

Does anybody know when the Petron petrol pump will be launching?

No idea, maybe 1 year from now?

I went to this place. Lots of empty units. DOuble storey starts from around 5xxk, and lakeside 6xxk-7xxk (if my memory is correct) .

Location hmm ... Felt Scietex is better than this biggrin.gif ..  Its near though
*
Scientex KJ you meant? What you meant by near?
Even Scientex KJ is fully depending on GG's infra and riding on their popularity nod.gif

Basically Sime Darby will be coming with their own township next to gamuda gardens. It’s just a matter of time for Kundang to grow.

I see Guthrie connectivity there from Gamuda Gardens. Does anyone know where the entry will be?

I heard that it will be near the PKNS apartments near Kuang Raya...

i always been saying this, the population there cant sustain what GG is envision to offer... lol... DPC at least surrounding still got some middle upper income population will spend there... but kundang is different proposition... even IOI city mall also surrounded by high density population compare to here... like rawang residents they can just spend at their AEON there why bother come to GG to spend their dime...

I think GG will mainly pull the crowds from Tasik Puteri, whole Kundang, Kuang and some from Sri Putra / Matang Pagar although we can't really say how their purchasing power is.

There are also chances that once the lake and park had been handed over to MPS, the maintenance part of it might go down the drain and we can foresee a lot of social issues i.e. rempit activities, druggies, public booze consumption etc. and thus making the whole environment unsafe for families and children. If these are to happen, I pity those home owners who bought just alongside the park.

In terms of lack of schools, I think we do have quite a number of schools albeit they are not within walking distance nor comparable to those in 'elite areas':
- Kundang Chinese school
- Kuang Chinese school
- Kuang Tamil school
- SK/SMK Kundang
- SK/SMK Taman Desa (Country Homes)

For the lack of shops, I have to agree on that part. It was advertised back in 2019 that shops such as KFC, 7-eleven, Mr.DIY, Tealive etc. would emerge but it's already 2021 now and only Freshii is there - no news about rest of the shops. No news on the development for Petron either (the banners have been up as well for quite some time).

Any reviews on the park? Will it be crowded on weekends?

The park is huge and it depends on what you are aiming to avoid.

I know for a fact that the children playground will always be crowded in the evenings, especially weekends.

You will be surprised.

Lets face it. Kundang means nothibg to most people. Gamuda really transformed the place to be a tropical paradise. Kid you not. Dpc equivalent without the actual shops yet. You need to be at the place to feel, breathe and live the place. Thats why they want you to be there.

Agreed.

Access to PLUS is already there and the same for LATAR as well.
Still waiting to dig some info on their 'plan' to build a direct access to Guthrie (heading to Klang/Shah alam) somewhere near the PKNS apartment (Simpang empat Kuang KTM).

Also no development has started yet for Petron, wondering why's the delay despite all those massive banners at the roadside.
