RM 12k just for the graphic system.

That's the thing I like about the Fury X - the card is cooling so you can put them so close to one another and there won't be any heat issue.

It's short and takes up only 2 PCI-E slots so it fits perfectly.

Try running any other cards red or green camp with this setup, they'll be hot like silly.

Are you comparing water-cooled with air-cooled?

I'm pretty sure most water GPU blocks take up 2 slots. No?

Fury x if wblock it will be single slot.

Gtx480 also last time.

It depends on the i/o connectivity.

Update on Arkham Knights

QUOTE
Rocksteady has released a list of things they are working on in an attempt to get Batman: Arkham Knight to a playable state.

Below is the list of the key areas where we are dedicating our resources to improve the experience for our loyal fans:

Support for frame rates above 30FPS in the graphics settings menu
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

While we work on improving performance, we will also continue to make interim patches available to address issues for those still playing the game on PC. The first patch is being released now and the updates include:
Fixed a crash that was happening for some users when exiting the game
Fixed a bug which disabled rain effects and ambient occlusion. We are actively looking into fixing other bugs to improve this further
Corrected an issue that was causing Steam to re-download the game when verifying the integrity of the game cache through the Steam client
Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash when turning off Motion Blur in BmSystemSettings.ini. A future patch will enable this in the graphics settings menu
We would like to thank our fans for their patience and invaluable feedback. We will continue to monitor and listen for any additional issues.

Was referring to the Fury X stock setup. 2 PCI-E slots.

I've since updated with a more recent post on my endeavor to install the Fury X on Mini ITX casing - it was a nightmare. sad.gif

Card small, correct BUT the cooling system takes up a lot of space

empire23 you saw my post? smile.gif Small setup, wait for NANO.

I screwed up in my GTX 980 Ti bench and the card left my lab already.

The thing I hate about GTA V is that the settings keep CHANGING.

You can set it to whatever you want but once the game detects a card of different specs, it will adjust to the setting that works best with the card.

In my case, the V-sync was enabled and I didn't realize so the speed was capped.

From my observation - the GTX 980 Ti wins hands down on GTA V results. Take what you have on GTX 980 and add 5% to 10%.

for the bolded part, was it for the Fury review or GTX 980Ti?
The weird thing is that the 8GB R9 390X was pretty much tied in GTA v to GTX 980 ~ based on guru3d's number hmm.gif

Bolded part was for the GTX 980 Ti because you were asking for it. biggrin.gif

Yes, R9 390X 8GB scores quite well.

http://www.goldfries.com/hardware-reviews/...ic-card-review/

I'll be updating it with 4K numbers soon too, I had quite some hiccup getting the details.

The R9 390X 8GB scores when it comes to games that pushes VRAM.

Interesting card that's for sure. Great price to performance value considering it's priced around RM 1.8k++.

to be honest I don't really see any issues with the new batman game . Yes , there are minor stutters but not that frequent other than that the game plays great
*
minor stutter hmm.gif , the game cant get past 30fps and editing the .ini file i could get 60fps but the dip is too huge below 30fps and this causes serious stutter. BTW im using a r9 290 . I tried for an hour to tweak the settings and no improvement could be seen. Requested a refund from steam seriously broken game im better off playing on my ps4 drool.gif

icon_idea.gif one more thing this game is so badly optimised it hogs VRAM like nobody business i saw usage up to 3.9gb, and the jaggies OMG is unacceptable mad.gif . Its a good game but rocksteady has tought me a lesson never to buy pre order games anymore vmad.gif
