TL;DR, DX12 gained on AMD's GPU is huge because of their crappy multi-threaded DX11(most of the time only single threaded) and gained on Nvidia's hardware was marginal because of their stellar multi-threaded DX11 and some of the benchmark show -ve scaling when using DX12.

but now that u got a lot of source from other sites, looks like that was not the case anymore.
