im using Fring now.really great application.skype,msn and others all in one.but i use it mainly for skype calls though.

for me its ok lah.the slider isin't aided by spring mechanism like the 6280 etc.but it is abit wobbly.

if you use the default web browser and surf sites that has a lot of images then soon the "no more memory" error will pop up.but if you use 3rd party applications like Opera then its ok.quite fast too.

maybe because the N76 has a 16mil colour screen?

anyway,something just happened to my N80i today.suddenly out of no reason by 'Standby' disappeared from the running apps menu.and then everything cant be accessed at all.have to restart my phone.

NSS stands for Nemesis Service Suite.just google it and use it to change your product code.the codes are available on the first page.just choice the APAC1 Pearl Black code.

you can update yourself by downloading the Nokia Software Updater from Nokia's site.then just follow the on screen tutorial.very simple to update the software.

symbian phone is a smartphone.you can install lots of applications in it.much more compared to a normal java based phone.

the phone will start getting laggy only when you install too many applications and use up almost all the memory.

nope updating the firmware via NSU will not void the warranty.

since a new one is like rm1.1k+- i guess maybe you can sell it for around rm700-rm800? if its zitron then it should fetch a higher price.

yeah you can.just use NSS to change your phone's product code to a N80i product code and then just update firmware normally using the NSU.

You'll need to change the product code from EMEA to APAC-1 using NSS.then after you update your phone using NSU you'll have chinese support.for the list of codes,check the 1st post

how old is your n80 already?maybe its time to upgrade.to teh N95.or smth.

yeah i have a crystal casing and two silicon casings.but found out that it spoils the look of the N80i and makes it more bulky so not using it now

its mono speaker.and the quality is horrible imo.worse then my k750i.but after tweaking the EQ its much much better.

its fast? my N80 takes much longer time to activate the camera compared to k800i.laggy lah

yeah.EQ = equalizer.

mine's also the same.when on silent mode there's still the shutter sound but when i choose sound 4 then it's silent.

on moderate usage it'll last 2 days or 2.5days max.with heavy sms-ing,calling and surfing it'll last one day only.

1.thats just plan bullcrap.im using my n80 to connect to my wireless router at home and i can be anywhere in my house and still connect to the router.

2.im using mig33 for msn on my n80 and yes it can be used with wifi connection.

3.im not too sure about the latest firmware as im not using is currently.

4.yeah i can surf LYN perfectly.just that when surfing sites that has alot of images,it'll pop up the error message of "not enough memory" after awhile.thats why i use Opera to surf those kind of pages and i can watch videos on mobile youtube too.

im using fring and i just need to login to my skype account and whoever's online in my friends list i can just call them straight using the N80

what msn application are you using?afaik some doesnt allow you to use wifi to connect (or more likely : dont have the choice to) eg. HIER.

im using mig33 and im quite happy with it.another one that i prefer is Agile Messenger but sadly its not free
