I was like ~ wow. I've been using Streamyx 1MB in Pantai Dalam - KL area, and the highest speed (once in a blue moon) is 80kBps and when I was seeing all of you got it as normal (before), I was thinking that I was being f**ked up all along these year.

On a normal usage, probably I will get average 10kBps-30kBps max (before these throttled issue about a month ago as far as I can remember). And within this month, my connection is about 0-5kBps.

Em, did I mentioned that max download that I did is only 2 torrent files? If downloading more that that, then speed will be like snail. Internet browsing will be almost impossible. I will only do that if I am going to sleep.

I'm using Azureus. NAT and DHT is OK (green). Modem that I use is Triz3200c. I've used Aztech DSL 600E and ZTE XDSL 831 before with NAT enabled and those thing configured. But with Triz 3200c is the best. And yes, I've trying encryption thingy but seems like it is becomes slower though I enabled "Allowed non-encrypted incoming connection"

Post Edited??
Some place less ppl use Streamyx so their download speed can go faster... Like for example fren place Penang Sg. Dua near USM got many comp shops, i'm sure most of them using Streamyx.... 2 big net cafe using SDSL & 5 medium net cafe using ADSL... He place at nite sometimes around every half dc once... I think the ISP not enough cater the whole area...

TMNet always put blame on P2P... everyday their new Streamyx users coming in & they never do any upgrades & rather spends billions invest India telco company... Is that fair to us u think??

Try this. Disable DHT and PNP in both your router and Azureus. Restart Azureus and router. You will get just a little bit more speed but the fact remains BT in your area is throttled. Good luck smile.gif

Are you sure about Disabling DHT? I seem to have good results with DHT enabled and EventID patched to 1000 (a thousand) max connections. International peers are still throttled, but now, it doesn't matter because many hundreds of local peers are feeding me.

Getting 150KB/s constant now, using BitComet.

u're lucky if local peer still seeding that file that u're leeching..
try leeching any linux iso(any distro) which seldomly got local peers and then u'll know..

beside i dun think they did configure that device well since other protocol(ftp, ssh, etc) is affected as well.. its quite hard to fetch something from freebsd ftp server here... sometimes i cant connect at all..
