just installed Aqua Crystal Eco...thumb up for the fast respond from zheilwane....especially guide me how to install the filter....save me RM150 by DIY rclxms.gif thumbup.gif

the water taste well...my wife love it as the filter hide under the basin, giving out more space on the table top... tongue.gif

one of the cons of the filter does not have a stand (better not to have to prevent higher cost)....so i have to sit it in the A4 paper box to prevent it from sliding biggrin.gif

i'm not too sure.... but every 3-5 years you need to change the membrane.

alternatively, you can add one more pre-filter before membrane...but not sure will reduce the overall flowrate n pressure or not.

after 23 months usage then only replaced a whole new set aquahor filter....only two person consumption n both of us also out for work during day time, so i extend a little longer before change new set.

out of curious, i broke the filter cover to see what's contain inside, as per below pic...

u can c the plastic cover actually quite thick, n the carbon filter also very large.

Mainly because water in Malaysia is very soft. In USA, where water is very hard, if you do not use RO, all your appliances such as kettle, coffee machine, humidifier etc, will be covered in white deposits. So it is a huge advantage for them to get RO, though it wastes 4:1 water in some cases and water is precious there (think California for example). Here in Malaysia, main advantage of RO is missing since no calcium deposits anyway, so RO must be extremely efficient here to compete with non RO systems. Though of course quality RO system will offer the most pure drinking water.

Another reason is this strong propaganda "RO water is bad for you", which is complete BS, but hey, when everyone says it, people start believing.

By the way, now possible to pay for our products or any other products for that matter by installments through Shopee or Lazada, so main advantage of Coway is slowly disappearing smile.gif

There was a fellow member not so long ago for whom money did not matter much, so he was only considering the most expensive systems, he asked me for advice, presenting few systems on his shortlist. Between Coway, Cuckoo Panasonic and eSpring, choose eSpring if money is not an issue.

one in Russian wording and another in English. Any other difference between these?
