For a budget of RM600 and below, what is the recommended solution for counter top filtration? I live in penang without a external filter.
Currently using ceramic + RO, I'd like to reintroduce the minerals for my 4 and 7 yo. Is it even a good practice?

QUOTE(aeiou228 @ Feb 28 2017, 01:01 PM) Top up RM150 to get 3M easy complete. NSF standard 42 & 53 certified. Wait till weekend and pay by Citibank card can get further 15% discount. http://www.lazada.com.my/3m-ap-easy-comple...r-15962948.htmlIf you want to go for budget version of 3M filters, you can go for 3M CTM-01, in accordance to NSF 42 & 53 standard but uncertified. RM300+ @ Tesco Malaysia. Hi aeiou228, thanks for the suggestions. from my couch surfing, it would seem both are 0.5micron filtration, hence if we are to trust the NSF-level internal testing compliance of 3M (which I do, due to professional reasons), they are more or less equivalent right? On top of that I will still boil the water regardless for my children, plus I already currently use doulton ceramic candles as pre-filter. I'm prone to get the CTM-01 due to lower initial cost and running cost for cartridge...
