Hi I wonder if cuckoo and coway really good because it really popular among my friends. Because they have after sales services and some models offer cold and hot function. But what concern me more is how safe to drink their water. I already owned espring and looking for my in-laws.

What is the minimum nsf certification needed to say that this filtration system is save to drink?

Hi there, just wandering is there any product out there that can replace my espring? I like espring but would like to try other brand if they affordable and provide safe drinking water. Espring cartridge is quite expensive plus their tubing claimed was made by natural ingredient thus they not durable and need to be replace frequent also.

Been eying on coway products but things with coway I not sure how safe is their filtration system. But their cold hot water features is nice. And I also don't know they got nsf certified or not like espring.

So is there other brand that is affordable, easy to get parts/cartridge, easy to assemble/disassemble, got nsf certified, and got hot and cold function would be a big plus.

Coway filtration quality is not anywhere near the eSpring quality. None of the dispensers with built in filters will offer such a filtration quality as stand alone filter can do. Your best bet is filter+ separate dispenser. For filters, 3M DWS2500, Disruptor (both NSF, Disruptor at component level), or Aquaphor. Aquaphor is GOST + LGA and complies to NSF but not certified.

I am puzzled though, "tubing made of natural ingredients", what the hell is that? If they are such a strong believer in NSF, why don't they take simple NSF certified tubes? Must be another way to extract money from their customers if just cartridges were not enough

About the tubing, I realize that after about half a year, it will start cracking and they will leak. What I do now is I just cut at the point of cracking until it short enough that can't reach the faucet then only I buy a new tubing. I ask amway reseller why it so fragile and he gave me this answer.

About the model u mention, they are only filters right? is it hard to install myself or need to hire a plumber?
