QUOTE(senscents @ Mar 12 2020, 01:19 PM) It is cheapo type sand filter bought 3 years ago for 299 bucks. So i plan to replace with better poe filter. Considering uf membrane type now. When my existing sand filter is new, my indoor amway espring can last for ngam ngam one year. Now it only lasts for 7-8 months with same usage before i need to replace the cartridge This post has been edited by blibala: Mar 12 2020, 05:31 PM |

QUOTE(superdav1986 @ May 12 2022, 12:01 AM) Dear Sifu... Used amway eSpring for 5 years so far so good.. Got it for 1.8k brand new via carousel. Seller came help pasang somemore. Cartridge can get it cheaper on shopee... Nothing wrong with mlmPlease advise on water filter. Prefer countertop. So far I have been looking at a few options 1- LG Purecare WD515AD - RM 4k plus. Overall good features (UV, hot & cold and service). However no NSF certification but filter can do 0.2-0.3 micron filtration.. Yearly RM500 for change filters and service. 2- Amway Espring - RM 4K . Yearly filter change around RM 700. Lots of features like filters 0.2 microns, UV, NSF 42, 53, 55, 401, P473, P477. However dislike MLM knowing they always charge more than is required. 3- Aquasana Aq5300+ - RM 1000 - GOOD Budget! - NSF 42,53,401, P473. Only 0.5micron filtration which seems lacking abit. 4- Daulton HBS Biotech Ultra 2501 system - RM 900 - Budget & Simple - but NSF 42, 53, 401 only. less compared to the others. My big question is does 1- UV system really worth it and does the job compared to non UV units? 2- Is NSF certification really authentic when some brands like Aquasana and others has resellers selling different 3rd party filter replacements? How do you know the performance is hitting the mark? 1. landed or condo - Condo 2. how many pax in your household? - 4 3. got senior / babies / people with disease like kidney failure for example in the house? 1 baby , 1 senior 4. can you able to do some small DIY installing yourself or not? (like replacement filter yourself?) Yes 5. how much u afford to installment per month for at least 5 years? 50/mth or 100/mth or 150/mth? RM 100 6. or do u prefer 1-time off purchase? below 1k or 2k or 3k? - 4k or less 7. do you own external water filter yet? - Yes. POE 8. hot/water function is it a must for you? anything OK. |

Can recommend me poe water filter for double storey landed. Currently using sand filter from previous owner and want to change to new one.
Water in my area a bit dirty. Every 3-4 days need to backwash.. New filter must not reduce water pressure too much and easy to maintain.. Any recommendation? Thanks. |

QUOTE(aeiou228 @ Mar 16 2024, 11:43 PM) Long ago it was Amway agents who camped here day and night and wait for the very first opportunity to post a reply to a new enquiry. Now it's the LG agents doing the same thing. Couldn't agree moreCan any LG agent here open a dedicated Puricare thread and leave this thread clean from Puricare specific discussions? CC mod cherroy |
