Some mixer tap has dual control/lever which eliminate risk of mixing with tap water.
I am thinking to hide my countertop filter as well in future.

DWS 1000 has lower filtration capacity compare with DWS 2500 T-CN of 2,800L.
Lower flow rate of 2.27L compare with 2.85L and DWS 2500 T-CN has a better micron rating of 0.2 μ(micron) Absolute.
For ~Rm500 different, imo the DWS 2500 T-CN offer a better filtration, it's almost like a mini AP 902 with carbon.
Replacement cost 😅 for every 6months

We won't know the logic of pricing placement of their products & replacement cartridges. Only if the head of 3M Malaysia really wants to flood the market with a good and affordable water filter systems like in other countries.
For now, we can only see but can not touch😂

Even the well to do persons will take the filters replacement cost into consideration.
One might be able to afford the one time purchase of the system but replacement cartridges cost 😅

May I know which model can do this? I am also thinking whether I could use the hot water inlet to provide filtered water since I will only be using cold water inlet even though I am buying a mixer 

So just connect the hot water inlet to the water filter and it will function as filtered water dispenser? Or how to do it?
