Guys, I will be moving to a condo unit and would like to fix a purifier for drinking water. All this while, I have used the Panasonic purifier/alkaline, connected to the faucet, which switches between the purifier and tap via a lever on the faucet nozzle. This set up has the two rubber hoses over the sink and looks messy. Is there a cleaner set up to get drinking water using any of the many systems out there?

Depends on your budget.

If you don't require hot or cold water, can get undersink type like Aquaphor with a faucet at the sink.

There are minimalist style undersink purifier with hot water (with tank) like Intrix and hot + cold water like Wells; this options are costly.

For table top minimalist design can get LG, as this model have flexible nozzle arrangement; allowing you to install flush against the wall. For the water inlet, outlet and plug, you can hide it all if you drill a grommet. Making a neat installation.

Thanks. I think I will go with the undersink type with dedicated faucet. Very neat.

Had a look at a few from posts here:

Aquaphor Crystal Eco - seems ok. Yearly about RM420
Bacfree BS8 - single cartridge - Yearly about RM230. OK
Panasonic TK-CB430-ZMA - 3 cartridge - very expensive
3M DWS 2500 - 2 cartridge - > RM700 yearly. Expensive.

Will do more research. Leaning towards the Bacfree now.

U dont just look at the annual maintenance price. You have to look at the price per water filtered when u need to replace. Unless you are talking about staying in the house with 1-2pax, which is fine because probably the usage is low. Annual fee between RM500-600 is the mainstream majority brand/company average pricing.

Noted. Thanks. Only two of us.
