Yeah, Midea is like that, they do not have even 1/2 of their products listed on a website. Just assume it is original, no one would make fake Midea.

Anyway, if you receive that and it comes with ceramic filter (not original Doulton, but whatever) please do not install ceramic as pre filter. Ceramic filters are not meant to be pre filters, unless you want to change them every 2 months.

This is much better. I would recommend pleated cartridge though instead of melt blown as a pre filter, it can last 6 month to 1 year and then can be washed. It is surface filtration instead of in depth filtration

Honestly, not easy to recommend something for 500RM that is also direct drink and made of more or less safe and quality components. Non bacteria removing at that price would probably be possible, but still tight.

1 year. Aquaphor recommends 1- 1.5 years, but I would say do not push much over 1 year. Issue is that even with silver powder, Aqualeen etc, bacteria will eventually start growing inside the cartridges

Just FYI, Aquasana does not remove bacteria, it is sediment+carbon+carbon. This is the main difference. Aquaphor has UF membrane incorporated in stage 2 to remove 99.99% of bacteria.

Unless you are considering their RO, but I believe they do not offer RO in Malaysia.

Since Aquaphor is not NSF (not sold in USA) certified and not California State tested, there is no performance data openly available. Usually, detailed performance data will be available for products certified in California and limited data will be available for NSF. Aquaphor has LGA Products certificate, which is mostly used in Europe and Russian GOST. But these are pass/fail types of certificate, without actual performance data.

This is why I do not want to do similar test for Fresca. What is the input water? You cant take super clean water, pass it through filter and it will show amazing pure water on the otjer end.

Good test would be to take known contaminated water and test for each and every contaminant.

Honestly, to me, though I sell Aquaphor, this lab report is useless, cannot draw any conclusions from it. I do trust LGA, GOST or NSF a lot more than this incomplete report.

Ideal test would be hire independent lab, ask them to contaminate water with say lead, then pass through filter and measure lead levels. I'm yet to find a lab willing to do thid all while we are filming
