I also have this problem on my M3, not sure if SC have found a permanent solution.

They really need to find a solution to this. I will report it when I go in for my first 1k service.

Collected my HS CKD Sedan (White) on Tuesday via MB Motorsport Selayang. Booked on 25.5.2015, so about one month wait.

Not sure if others have the same minor issue, but I realised the front bumper (passenger side) is a bit misaligned. And there's also the anticipated 'kruk kruk' suspension noise, but I think it's not actually bad or annoying as it only happen when I drive over speedbumps / potholes at speed.

The factory assembling the car sure loves playing with grease. My car's door hinges was smothered in grease, will get it properly detailed soon.

The 18" Toyo tyres is a bit noisy to my liking, as my previous car rides on Michelin PilotSport3. Better sound insulation might lessen the road / tyre noise intruding the cabin.

Still fiddling with some of the gadgets / features. The Lane Departure and RVM is a great plus - since the B-Pillar on the driver side do intrude side view.

Haven't tested the fuel consumption. Onboard Tripcomputer says its 11.2L/100KM average, but that haven't been reset since delivery. Filled it up to full and travelled close to 70KM and still the fuel indicator haven't dropped. Is this normal? Will update on how much mileage a full tank can cover go once I deplete this fill up.

Due to my average height, I find no complaints with the rear seats. Comfortable yes, but admittedly not as roomy as fellow segment contenders (Civic, Corolla, 408).

The GPS was a bit of a hassle to figure out (or I am just not getting it as I'm used to PapaGo) since it requires users to input Country, State, Street and specific address everytime it is used. Maybe there's a shortcut I haven't discovered yet.

Overall, a great car. Highway cruise is a breeze, a lot of standard amenities compared to others in its class (with the exception of the Elantra and Cerato, laden with gizmos).

[Congrats!! sweet car isn’t it ?]

[I wonder if it’s a tyre issue or sound insulation issue? If we change to PS3 tyres would it still be that noisy? Anyone can share their experience?]

[Slightly light footed, ive managed slightly over 600km full tank. Avg 8ishL/100k. the first fuel bar started to drop at 120-130+ km!]

[yea car GPS is always hard to use, I like my google maps and WAZE.]

One thing to add - while fiddling through the infotainment system, found a 'WiFi' settings menu - not sure if it's to allow the system to connect to a WiFi network or to setup the system as a WiFi router.

I'm pretty sure that I didn't opt for any wireless data contract when I bought the car. Anyone has any ideas?

Thanks LittleWing smile.gif I was told that the Toyo T1 Sport tyres installed are noisy due to the soft sidewall. But extra sound insulation would work wonders to reduce noise intrusion, regardless of tyres.

Actually the T1 Sport sidewall is very stiff, even stiffer than the PS3 on my old car. That's why it is making so much noise(stiff = loud), but cornering thumbup.gif .

it allows the system to connect to a wifi network, most likely your phone's personal hotspot or anything similar. Once it's connected, you're able to get live traffic info on the GPS Maps.

Just placed my booking for a Mazda 3 gray gl spec at 1u roadshow. Only managed lucky draw rm500 rebate.

The funny part is that no one really tried to approach me to promote the car when I was looking around

that is pretty bad fc bro.

i get about 600km full tank, mixed city/highway driving. it's about 12.5km/L.

pure highway i can get 20km/L if i drive at 90-100kph. if the car fc meter is correct, i can drive 1000km on highway with full tank.

might want to get your car checked out.
