Probably the layer sprayed on the bumper is too thin so the different type of surface show different colour from the body. Nothing much we can do about it.
*
i believe so. because my ducktail spoiler also looks slightly diff in color even spray with same color code. diff material

If you are looking at good discount for Mazda 3, then you probably may want to wait till next year. Everyone know CKD just launched this year April and it is sells quite well. If happened that the SA said has ready stock, then sure it has less offer because out there somebody are still waiting for their car, while yours is ready stock.

Good luck hunting best offer. cheers~

HI all, any recommended shop to spray rims?

prefer the "glossy" type like what you get from original paint instead of the "dip" style and roughly what is the cost?
*
Try search King of Rims. They buy, sell and do paint for rim. price boleh la.

my car is almost 2 months old but i only put it in ride during weekend.
so the mileage is very low. around 2k atm.
my next service would be on March 2016 or 10,000km which come first.

so is there any things i need to take care or aware of before next service? like monitoring battery water?

No. Any front sensor is aftermarket type which does not integrate with the infotainment screen.

Yup. So far no front sensor available that integrate with the infotainment. Unless u looking for one that comes with cam.

QUOTE(KennyKB @ Nov 16 2015, 12:11 PM)
There's no perfect car which ticks all the boxes for everything you want. Every choice is a compromise. If you want space get an Altis but forget about good safety features and value for money. If you want power and handling get a Jetta but don't complain when gearbox problems hit you.  If you want reliability get a Civic but live with the dated look. If you want gadgets get a Cerato but it handles like a Myvi. Ford and Peugeot make good cars but reliability and after sales service are problematic and RV is terrible.

I've shortlisted Altis, Civic, Sylphy, Cerato, Jetta, Focus, Mazda 3 and Pug 408 but in the end it was the Mazda 3 which gives me the best compromise in price, features, performance, handling, styling, FC, maintenance, after sales service and RV. Rear space isn't the best but I can live with it.

Cars are very expensive in Malaysia. Choose wisely and make sure it fulfills your most important priority but remember there is no perfect car.
*
Wow, very comprehensive one rclxms.gif
Mine look same as you except for Sylphy and Cerato.
Also did consider for Lancer Sportback.
At last when look at price, spec wise and design, i picked Mazda 3.

Guys, I need some advice. I got my M3 HS for a few weeks now. Due for the 1k service.

My complains is that I'm not getting the FC that I read on here. My avg is still 10.0L/100km and for some reason I cant get the blindspot alert to work.

Is this something to look into because I'm abit worried.
*
Avg fc is based on your current driving style. Try reset Trip Meter so that you can monitor new fc avg.

Bro, firstly, the indicator on the side mirror does it works?

Next, does the "RVM" is indicated in GREEN light at the instrument panel there? And also you can do some setting with the MZD like beep volume.
Be remind that the RVM only works when speed above 30 km/h.

About the FC. 10 L/100km is possible when most of the time you are in heavy traffic. Actually, to me, the current FC is useless.. hahaha.. Just to show how light or heavy you accelerate...
*
yup, current fc is not helping at all. Avg fc might be helping but its all bout how you drive your car.
mine was 6-7L/100km for first 2 months. after that i noticed some increment on avg fc at 8-9L/100km.
that was due to tyre pressure which i never monitor before (that's my fault) and heavy use of aircond/fan (last month quite hot la).

so far my avg fc is 7-8L/100km.

JDM Teknik is doing this but you won't like the price (RM2.1K last time I inquired). For navigation better just stick your smartphone to the windscreen. Or you can pay Bermaz to upgrade your MZD to navigation status.
*
yup, not worth at all.

Have you considered about the new 2016 Civic?

I am actually quite firmed to place order for the new M3 HS, until I saw the new Civic. It looks equally sporty with good features as well.

Having this dilemma now, both are too good.
*
New Civic is quite a looker but as usual there will be at least 3 variants to choose which basic spec will loose everything tongue.gif

Here spec comparison between GL, HB and HS.

I choose HS not because of its safety features but the followings:

1) Headlights and DRL
2) 18" rims
3) Auto cruise
4) Paddle shifters

For me the only safety features that useful to me was Rear View Monitoring System because I like to cilok during heavy traffic tongue.gif
