Often supp card dont enjoy equal benefits as principal for lounge access,
I just called RHB CS, RHB VS principal allowed 4x free access. Even you have 4 supp cards, total access still same =4x per year! |

QUOTE(Tigerr @ Jul 20 2015, 01:22 PM) Why no fair? Sometimes supplementary card holders spends more than the principal card holders. It's not about spending. Anyone with credit cards can spend as much as they want within (or maybe exceeding) their card limits. To apply for a card however, that's a different story. That was just my humble opinion as a credit card user. Obviously if there are supplementary cards that offer equal benefits as the primary, please do let me know as I would be interested to apply one should it be beneficial. I am waiting to hear reviews about PB VS supplementary card if they extended the lounge access to the supplementary holders. You also can do a sup card to your loved one and she can also enjoy the same benefits instead of applying more cards for the same reason. p/s: My loved one has a supplementary card but they do not issue a supplementary priority pass card. The Priority Pass card is only issued to me as the primary card holder. This post has been edited by coo|dude: Jul 20 2015, 01:42 PM |

My wife sup card doesn't come with a pp card. But she can also apply one principal card n hence she ll also get her pp card too but she doesn't want to keep too many cards. Spending on my sup card she wont need to keep remembering the due date n I ll always got to pay up what she spent. beside the pp card. I think her sup card share similar benefits as mine.p/s: My loved one has a supplementary card but they do not issue a supplementary priority pass card. Is it correctly understood, that there currently is NO creditcard issued in Malaysia that offers PRIORITY PASS access for supplementary card holders?

QUOTE(coo|dude @ Jul 20 2015, 12:53 PM) I would think that is unfair to other card holders of the same category. Supplementary card holders do not usually met the card eligibility hence it's called supplementary. The most, both the primary and supplementary cards share the same "number of access" limitation and deduct them accordingly. That is why I applied for few cards that provides the same airport lounge benefits (I have 2 priority pass cards from 2 different banks) that allows me and my partner entries whenever we travel. My knowledge is however based on few years ago - the T&C could have changed. Let me know if there are cards that allow/duplicate the benefits to their supplementary cards. are you able to use the same name priority card to enter international PPL for both you and your partner? |

In the past before I had the Priority Pass and where the access to the lounges were more liberal, I was able to use my other credit cards to allow multiple persons accessing the lounge. My last travel was in April and I used my 2 Priority Passes under my name for me and my loved one, so I can concur to this. |

Keen to know what credit cards allowed multiple persons access to the lounge. Read from GenX. He mentioned some overseas lounge cannot accept same name 2 entries even though from 2 different cards. |

QUOTE(Tigerr @ Jul 20 2015, 02:53 PM) Can u share more information on your experience? Keen to know what credit cards allowed multiple persons access to the lounge. I never really tried Priority Passes in the oversea lounges, as for leisure travels we usually check into the airport on time and usually spent our last few hours shopping in the airport. When travelling on business, I usually fly on either Cathay or Emirates and use my frequent flyers lounge access instead. It's easier to find those airline lounges than the common/paid lounges. The ones I mentioned are in KLIA and KLIA2. My April travel was from KLIA2 and the lounge is the one after the check-in process. We had to go real early to KLIA2 as it was our first time to the new airport and there hearsay that you will need to walk "a thousand miles" to your departure gate. Can't remember which lounge but there were 3 lounges in KLIA2 I believe, 1 before the check-in and 2 after the check-in. I have 2 Priority Pass cards, one issued by Citibank and another by SCB, but both are the same black color PP card, same name but different numbers. Both PP cards are still valid and not expired.Read from GenX. He mentioned some overseas lounge cannot accept same name 2 entries even though from 2 different cards. Last year when travelling from KLIA, I was able to use my CIMB VS and my Citibank Platinum cards to gain entry to the Plaza Premium lounge. My CIMB VS issued me vouchers to be used for the lounge while for Citibank, I just show them the card and signed. When Citibank Platinum card decreases their benefits, that was when I cancelled it and use their another card. I believe now you can't use their Platinum card to enter Plaza Premium anymore, you can only do so using their Premier Miles credit card. Thanks. What we really interested on is the usage on overseas airport lounge. For local PPL. It is very easy. Many credit cards can allow entries even with the sup card. My UOB infinite can get me entry into Green Market in singapore while local PPL all settle with Maybank infinite. My PP only use for overseas.Last year when travelling from KLIA, I was able to use my CIMB VS and my Citibank Platinum cards to gain entry to the Plaza Premium lounge. It is hard to maintain so many cards unless I willing to pay the annual fees n that's the reason my wife is using a sub card instead. Her own UOB infinite ll let it be cancelled as cant make the annual usage. But b4 cancel ll try ask for waiver instead. This post has been edited by Tigerr: Jul 20 2015, 03:27 PM |

Anyway, since you haven't really tried it out so it remains that PP cannot be used for another person. |

I remembered I was excited when first issued with the PP but only to find out there are only limited lounges worldwide that accepted it. Well at least it is not that much beneficial to me as most of the countries I frequent to has limited access for it. I have no time to cross check their website before I travel and I definitely have no time to walk from one lounge to another lounge to see and ask if they accept PP. I am better off to just use the airline lounge. I find PP however useful in Malaysia. I can use them in all the airports that I frequent to, e.g. KLIA, KLIA2, Kuching, KK and Langkawi. My fellow friend even said he can use his in Subang airport (I am not sure how true is that and I can't even recall Subang airport has a lounge). |

It is not that useful as you have entries into frequent flyer lounges but to others may be the other way around n hence priority pass is one of other option to grant them entries into lounges. Can u share which other international airports that do not accept pp card as from pp website it stated that it can gain access into 580(if not mistaken) lounges world wide. |

I frequent to Australia (Sydney and Melbourne), New Zealand (Auckland), Hong Kong and San Francisco. Those were the airports that I was eagerly tried when I first had my PP but was disappointed.
