aiyoyo.....my application to port from maxis to digi was rejected. Reason=new ic number does not match, after i found out, i called maxis helpline to check and my ic no. was indeed correct as per my ic then i called digi again and ask whether they key in my ic no. correctly and it was key in correctly.

nowaday wrong ic number is the common reason for maxis and celcom to abort the porting application by user, so today went to digi in taipan to port again my maxis number to digi, while talking and complaining to the digi cs about the wrong ic thingy, she said this is common, then she told me she tried to port celcom to digi, this case failed 5 times, i just remember 2 reason which is wrong ic number and the next reason really shock me "number is still in contract"-since when prepaid got contract lah CELCOM???????? if celcom use that reason for postpaid oklah........

MAXIS & CELCOM SO KAISU wan meh?

i think too many maxis & celcom user ported to DIGI lah.........maxis and celcom comes out with this ridiculious reason to reject porting application.

To maxis & celcom,

why do your customer still port to digi even though digi do not have 3G and you have better coverage than DIGI??????
*
Sorry to hear that you have issues porting your number. If Maxis and Celcom have this type of insecurity, many will just terminate their service and move to Digi.
If they do it professionally, others will stay with them or port to them.
They are making a bad name for themselves now. rclxms.gif

Were at Midvalley on Tuesday and ported from Celcom to Digi.
Just they just photostated my IC and give me the Digi new simpack
and it was done less than 5mins
Did it around 12 to 1 pm. By 5pm+ Celcom sim card already became inactive before I could transfer the remaining Celcom credit to someone else sad.gif

Slot in Digi simcard and call Digi support line to activate the line and the automatic voice system was speaking in Mandarin...what the.....  vmad.gif
Going to *128# was also in Mandarin characters....

Have to give the support line couple of calls on another phone line to get it fixed...
Other than that, so far so good.
*
wow smooth process...
i thought default language is Malay??

This might be a good thing for all but the problem now is you might get unexpected extra charges.

Let's say you are sending a SMS to 016-xxxxxxx from Digi, you might not know that number belongs to which operator and thus you might get charged 15 cents (other operators) instead of 7 cents (Digi network)

to counter the extra charges..
get those plans who gives standard rates for all numbers regardless of operators.
but mostly these types of plans only applicable for postpaid.
