I guess I am too old school. I prefer they stick back to the turn based battle. Best is something like FFx system where I get to change character on the fly.
I seriously hate the ff12 and 13 system. The game doesn't feel fun at all. Is like a bunch of lousy AI doing all sort things to screw u up. |

QUOTE(0300078 @ Jun 27 2015, 10:24 AM) I guess I am too old school. I prefer they stick back to the turn based battle. Best is something like FFx system where I get to change character on the fly. i've played so many turn based rpgs back in the day. just glad that western rpgs start taking things to the next level. I liked ff12's gambit system. It can be an automated for grinding and you really have no choice but to micromanage your characters for tougher boss fights. It's actually pretty complex when dealing with higher level foes as you have to change tactics based on the current situation considering positioning plays a part to deal with AOEs. If anything its probably one of the best combat system in all of the FF seriesI seriously hate the ff12 and 13 system. The game doesn't feel fun at all. Is like a bunch of lousy AI doing all sort things to screw u up. |

I am a fan of FF series, I even bought the Ori PS2 game to support it back then but it was a big let down for me. |

FF7 remake announcement ignited my interest in FF series again.......
Kinda disappointed about how horrendous FF13 turn out..... Ended up selling it for rm30.....about 10 hours playing it and I'm done..... rather playing yakuza 3... FF13 total waste of money & time...... This post has been edited by bluraypirate: Jun 30 2015, 05:23 AM |

If anything its probably one of the best combat system in all of the FF series in honesty, i liked the gambit system on ff12. the overall battle system is nice too, apart from the "star wars" kinda feel storyline.they shud test demo what type of battle system for the remake. as long as not like ff13, then its all cool. |

i actually like 13's battle system, and didn't like 12's gambit so much, maybe i wasn't good in setting up the gambits, so I always had trouble. i enjoy ffx's battle system the most, where all characters can be as strong as any other, with no penalty.
i'd be happy for a turn based VII remake, just like the old one. |

The last FF which didn't sucked was FFX-2. FFX was the last good FF game. SE is a has been now. |

FFX-2 is starting to be sucks, it's almost like FF13 if they don't let you control all 3 characters...
FF12 is still pretty good although it took off turn base system. If you master the system then you will enjoy the game. FF13 is sucks even if you master the system... wait is there really a system in FF13... |

I was still OK with x-2 but if compare with x, then x is tons better than it.
As for 13, the battle system sucks, the story sucks, the game itself is like walking straight line (Nvr before I play a game that let u feel u are just walking so straight). |

Rather than they spend money to do the remake, I suggest they use the money to bribe and bring back Hinorobi Sakaguchi, the father of FF. FF without Hinorobu is like Metal Gear Solid without Kojima.
