QUOTE(victorywp @ Feb 18 2016, 06:05 PM) this is different than rhb-tesco (local partnership) because this is an international partnership between aeon and watami. overseas watami still alive. lol... QUOTE(fruitie @ Feb 18 2016, 06:06 PM) YupsDouble check the aeon watami intro. It might still be there ! They might just remove "Malaysia" and the last sentences QUOTE Together with WATAMI International, AEON Credit Service is proud to introduce the AEON WATAMI VISA Classic Card, a special privilege card with exclusive rewards when you dine in any WATAMI Japanese Casual Restaurant in Malaysia and overseas. QUOTE(sj0217 @ Feb 20 2016, 11:12 PM) What card on my mind was OCBC GE for 1% cash back since now no longer need policy on GE insurance right if no mistaken QUOTE(fruitie @ Feb 20 2016, 11:27 PM) Yes, no longer needed I think. I have the card earlier as I'm a GE insurance holder. the TnC written as below, so not restricted anymore? It can be used on everything. 1% is only for first RM 1k and subsequently will be 0.5% unlimited. I have GE life policy, so that's doesn't impact me. Based on TnC, IPP also get 1%, so I could switch my premium payment to annually for Auto-IPP and get cashback for monthly IPP? If that is the case, I can save some % when they convert to cash value in premium since is a no % for annual payment, this would be some downgraded replacement for quarterly 3% I know this is off topic, but seems like no open OCBC thread QUOTE > http://www.ocbc.com.my/assets/pdf/Cards/tnc_card_ge2015.pdf This post has been edited by edwardccg: Feb 21 2016, 08:31 AMOnly for policyholders of GE Life and OAC Assurance 1. The OCBC GE Card is only issued to eligible applicants who hold any currently valid insurance policies by GE Life and/or Overseas Assurance Corporation (Malaysia) Berhad (Company No. 102249-P) (“OAC Assurance”). All applications are subject to approval by OCBC Bank at its absolute discretion. |

You should be able to print the statement. It works for me. I believe this require paid version of PDF editor to make the changes, right? |

If monthly spend is 1500 - 3000. Effectively cash back is around 1 - 1.67% but not sure insurance valid for cashback or not |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Feb 27 2016, 11:43 AM) Based on our history, is there a case that a card still remain exisitng customer (with same feature, of coz!) but only stop new application?I believe usually the bank stop new application because they think they have enough card holder. In this watami case, they stop application is on the same time of watami restaurant all close down in malaysia, so i believe existing cardholder for watami should have less chance to retain it? |

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Mar 8 2016, 08:03 PM) CB fulfillment will be on 31 June right? The big question is, will they still honor the CB because by May, the 3% technically would have no place to be credited to anymore. Same goes to points redemption. Yes. I believe this could only be answered after the announcement which is around next month. Most likely i believe it will be forfeited. Will need to redeem all point i have so far for next statement |
