yeah, bkk airport reopen.

and this sounds like a good news to me,

All affected guests of cancelled flights between 26 November and 4 December 2008 due to Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi International Airport closure will automatically receive credit shell which can be used to book new AirAsia flights. The credit shell is to be redeemed within 3 months for their future travel to any AirAsia destination (except AirAsia X). Guests with membership login account numbers are able to utilize credit shell for internet bookings.

now i can plan for other alternative destination jor. biggrin.gif

For those whose flight to BKK was cancelled, kindly head to AA Office (KL Sentral) to get your credit shell before end of December 08.

You must make a booking anytime before March 08. You may change your destination to other countries except AirAsia X (Melbourne, Perth, Gold Coast & Hang Zhou).

i oso going on early March biggrin.gif

oh by the way, today's news!
http://www.bernama.com/bernama/v5/newsgeneral.php?id=383389

"In the Central Region, the lowest temperature is between 13 and 15 degree, with Bangkok currently experiencing 14 to 16 degree, with the south, between 17 and 23 degree.

The department said the cold spell was due to the intense cold air blowing from China."

for those who're going in Jan/Feb, do remember to bring extra sweater. Don't catch cold.

Hi guys, I'm bringing my family for 4D3N next week. How much baht should I bring per person? Most places, including massage & spa, accept credit cards right?
*
QUOTE(wirelessdude @ Mar 2 2009, 05:51 PM)
Oh... so did you spend the RM800 mostly in cash or card? How much does a meal there costs on average, e.g. in a shopping center foodcourt?
*
yo mate, from stock market jumped to travel & living yea laugh.gif

what a coincidence, i am going to bkk on next week too, fly on 11th.

food price is pretty cheap, almost same like in malaysia (some places eg. food court) is even cheaper than here, well that's what i read. Rm1k/pax should be enough for a 4D3N, shopping, makan, massage, night life, etc!

Hahaha! I'm flying on 12th. Where you staying? Since I'm with a baby, I'm putting up at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit so that more convenient access to the BTS.

You sure need until RM1K/pax? I'm trying not to change so much money so that I don't get stuck with the extra baht.

wow 5 star hotel biggrin.gif

me & my gang prefer to enjoy our stay @ bkk to the max, so we booked two different hotels, we will be staying at Citin Pratunam & Legacy Suites Bangkok.
