well i recommend using both. if its really long distance or just feel lazy then take a taxi. i take a taxi esp. when the sky is even more dusty than usual. unless im going far or in a rush.

usually when i take bts its not that crowded unless on the weekend or during rushhour. if your really rajin then take the bts get off at the best stop then switch to taxi thumbup.gif

wow. i was wondering why your post is so long. really trauma huh. i guess the situation is even worse now due to the economic recession. thailand is known for its traps. we all must be very careful. really kesian your uncle and all of you. hope you all feel much better now your back in kl. many people like to ketuk malaysia saying we are corrupt and horrible. ive travelled and lived in tons of countries and by far malaysia is the BEST country ive ever lived in.

she will also benefit lah. its a trap. shes part of it lah. they will pay a bit to her lah.

money will be distributed amongst them all. even the cleaner probably get something.

i never buy from duty free in thailand. i find it cheaper outside. maybe ciggys might be cheaper. but thats probably cheaper in malaysian airports.

im sure you can buy duty free at airport and be safe. not everyone in thailand is a con-artiste. my bro in law always buys tons of stuff from duty free before coming to kl. i think its just how lucky you are that day.

now that you brought it up...it does sound a bit exaggerated. the only news about malaysians in thailand is the border people and the drug dealers.

anyways.... @stimix you drove a car in bkk. shocking.gif i was too scared to hahahahah. did you live there or you rent?

their McD not halal?  blink.gif
*
my sister and her family left to BKK yesterday~ holiday~~~~ so nice. i have to sit in office and work...haizzzzz.

not many things in thailand is halal. im not a super strict muslim so as long as there is no pork i will eat it.
but you have to becareful in thailand. because apparently..."bacon" and "pepperoni" are not considered to be meat doh.gif for some reason.
so your vege pizza will have bacon bits on it. or small pepperoni slices on the crust doh.gif. also a tuna sandwich they will have bacon inside.
so check. they treat it like a garnish more than a meat hahahahah.

chat 2 chat only for shopping.. i dun think i explored every corney also.. seems like walking round and round ending up at the same place...

i also got trick by my aunt about the aiport tax.. she told me they will collect airport tax when coming back malaysia so i dun dare spend so much on shopping mana tau din oso.. wasted din buy more stuff
*
i thought you were going to say your aunt took your money for tax hahahahah.

yeah tax is included now i think. which is much better. because its really annoying. and surprising how much it costs. usually i always have no money at the end of a journey. imagine getting stuck at the airport and missing your flight for rm50. haiiiii. i would be sooo pissed. so sneaky.

JJ is a hectic place. but i wanna go back there to fetch some art. its cheap and damn nice.

Hello to all you fine people. This 11 June 2009, my friends and I planning to go Pucket. Now the problem is all of us are first timers. Any good advise and guideline to help us.

Thankz in advance  notworthy.gif
*
first timers huh. ok. for first timers i recommend.... wear light clothing and dont look like a tourist.
avoid tuktuk drivers because a lot of them are on the prowl to rip off tourists. never take the tuk tuk that is parked on the side of the road saying come cheap i give you cheap! but i guess you do have to ride a tuktuk cause its cool hahahah. becareful of the price though. um...what else.
gem scandal must be looked out for. and you might want to avoid the...tiger (thaigirl) show. unless you are daring.
