Four main monsters in MHX




It's all about stylish and flashy combat. There are two 'flashy' actions known a the moment, Hunting maneuvers and Hunting styles. From what I've read maneuvers are basically special moves that you can use to aid you in battle, ranging from buffs, heals and of course damage. As for the hunting styles, I'm not so sure. Nintendolife wrote : There will 4 hunting styles, you can choose one. Light Bowgun x hunting style,
Sword and Shield x hunting style, Great Sword x hunting style and Dual Blades x hunting style. Each is unique in its own way.

Others info there will 14 weapons, you can visit all the previous villages(new one in X is called Verna Village) and no date about NA release date. Hold your breath like a champ.

CB ultra burst look shinny and LBG and GL can fire nuclear shot!!!!
they should change name to LNG (light Nuke gun) or NL (nuka cola lance).

Huge change in riding mechanics in X. When someone is riding a monster, other hunters can attack the monster to help the rider fill up the ride gauge. Pretty sure this means that attacks will no longer cause the rider to be thrown off the monster.

Note the attack sparks while riding is BLUE


When other hunter attacks, the attacks are also emitting blue sparks.

RIP Charge Axe. From terrible to decent then back to terrible again. In the demo, a lot of styles are pretty bad because they remove some of the crucial attacks or abilities from weapons and replace them with gimmicky regular moves coughaerialgscough.

It's better to just stick with Guild for most weapon types but Charge Axe still sucks even with Guild style.

Hi All,

I know there's a fb hunter's community but from what i got is that they dont do much of a voice chat when gaming via the internet, I've setup a discord server that welcome any hunters who could behave themselves in a mature manner to start hunting, the more hunters we can get the easier we can setup groups to help 1 another.

the cool thing is this app could work on both mobile and pc, so it's a good platform for communication with least worries on lag/resource hogging and etc. I got an overwatch community slowly growing now, looking to expand to MHX

If you're looking for LAN party, you don't need Online to do that for you. You can just activate it easily.

bare in mind u may have a tad bit performance issue such as longer loading. I use to play mh4u on a 2ds it does have a slower performance..doesnt quite stop u from playing tho.

people with older 3ds plays mh4u claim to face occasion frame rate drops when playing multiplayer. nothing too bad as well.

I believe that nintendo is slowly skewing towards new 3ds when they develop new games, i foresee that 2ds and old 3ds will be obsolete by next year.. heck, nintendo could even release a brand new hand held console and slowly phasing out the new 3ds : /

Not to mention New 3DS proc is faster. You can see the framerate difference between Old 3DS and New 3DS on Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.

I believe old 3ds suffers from graphic popping issue as well lol
How i wish nintendo will release a hand held console with better graphic capabilities, pls at least make it on par over the ps vita : O

Well, better graphic is nice. But however i prefer better game play rather than just candy eye

actually only 1 game that i know of requires the new 3DS, most nintendo games are pretty low specs so u dont need to worry about the 2ds phasing out.

u dont need a code..the game is free to download when the time comes

actually most of my friends are on old 3ds...i was too..no graphics issues. nintendo games are pretty simple looking..dont really need graphics hungry proc like vita. in terms of life span of games also they are pretty long last time and they got their own fan base for such games n graphics
