Note the attack sparks while riding is BLUE

When other hunter attacks, the attacks are also emitting blue sparks.

Here's another one

For comparison purposes, regular attacks causes yellow-ish sparks

Huge change in riding mechanics in X. When someone is riding a monster, other hunters can attack the monster to help the rider fill up the ride gauge. Pretty sure this means that attacks will no longer cause the rider to be thrown off the monster.

RIP Charge Axe. From terrible to decent then back to terrible again. In the demo, a lot of styles are pretty bad because they remove some of the crucial attacks or abilities from weapons and replace them with gimmicky regular moves coughaerialgscough.
It's better to just stick with Guild for most weapon types but Charge Axe still sucks even with Guild style. |
