True color looks like a great feature, think it is best to test the demo unit to see how it looks in real biggrin.gif

Recently i found that MSI had launched 2 elegant model with silver color called Prestige. The body design is really impressing and it look smart and professional. the feel is different when you hold the model at your hand.. you really look like a professionalism.. hehehe.. the weight is suitable and nice just about 2.1kg (PX60) and 2.4kg (PE60). I do take some photos while i trying at MSI concept kiosk. share the photos to you guys..

i can say i am impressed with the screen , its not surprising why it is so good because its able to display 100% sRGB
the cooling of the GPU is also impressive , while gaming it stays below 70c, the CPU gets up to 85-88c
the laptop could use an ssd to improve the responsiveness since the stock HDD is kinda slow
The i7-5700HQ is able to reach 720 points in cinebench r15 which is comparable to the i7 4910mq
the GTX960m fast enough to play latest games
and you can also overclock both the cpu and gpu brows.gif

Ic, two outlets. The temp is quite nice actually

The CPU temps is a bit high side but with undervolting i think can achieve lower temps. tongue.gif

i guess the prob with the cpu temps is that msi decided to use non copper contact heatsink for the CPU doh.gif
even after repasting it with Arctic MX4 temps didnt improve much

yeah . im a bit dissapointed of that.
temps reaches 88c after i OCed the processor to 3.7Ghz
but the GPU only reaches 66c even after oced to +135mhz core and +500mhz memory
MSI should get their cooling shit together, fixed the GPU heat prob but non copper contact for CPU?
even my cheapo lenovo got copper contact for the cpu.
this the cpu heatsink

i'm PX60 user, urm ..
thin and light > YES
Heat issue > non-gaming: no problem, gaming (dota2[AA/Vsync/FHD]): might feel warm at top right corner ventilation, can hear fan sound. Not a problem for me.
i'm using in room without air-con, daily >3 hours, sometimes 9am~11pm as well.

the screen colour very nice. Although it does not state there, but it has a "KILLER LAN" !! if u're using LAN, most important for wifi user "AC" channel which is faster than "BGN" .

price wise, it is good for a overall.

compare to asus ROG G501,
MSI PX60 using 5th gen Procs, better cooling system, better HDD rpm(7200 vs 5k rpm on asus), better keyboard.

Gratz on your new machine. rclxms.gif
But I think the "AC" channel got nothing to do with faster wifi speed. You need AC router to be able to effectively utilize it. If not you will fall back to BGN, and also "AC" doesn't improve your speed.

So far, when i'm on battery mode, i mostly heavy loaded(gaming+surfing+working). Lasted around 1.5~2.5hours+ with full brightness/keyboard light lv1, no battery saving mode. As a performance light weight laptop, for me , it is acceptable.

For surfing internet/watching videos, I will let you know more after i test it. or you can PM me as well.

By the way, I'm using it to work, so i would prefer a professional laptop outlook rather than gaming outlook(casing).

Yes, my house wifi is "AC" , so it able to utilised it. Actually, WIFI is moving towards AC ad. So, with AC wifi adapter, it is good to have right now.
