Z5 is the best bang of buck if you EXCLUDE OS. Z5 provides the best air ventilation so far and better price spec ratio, as long as you exclude OS.
But the weight and look is not suitable for girls I believe. If I'm to choose between Asus G501 or HP Omen, I will go for Omen, but I will go for 512gb SSD variant since I find the other storage option to be very limiting. Few games and your storage are almost full. Eg: GTA V used 60gb+, imagine you got other game like Wolfenstein or Witcher 3. But of course that 512gb variant is out of your budget

i'm PX60 user, urm ..
thin and light > YES
Heat issue > non-gaming: no problem, gaming (dota2[AA/Vsync/FHD]): might feel warm at top right corner ventilation, can hear fan sound. Not a problem for me.
i'm using in room without air-con, daily >3 hours, sometimes 9am~11pm as well.

the screen colour very nice. Although it does not state there, but it has a "KILLER LAN" !! if u're using LAN, most important for wifi user "AC" channel which is faster than "BGN" .

price wise, it is good for a overall.

compare to asus ROG G501,
MSI PX60 using 5th gen Procs, better cooling system, better HDD rpm(7200 vs 5k rpm on asus), better keyboard.

Gratz on your new machine. rclxms.gif
But I think the "AC" channel got nothing to do with faster wifi speed. You need AC router to be able to effectively utilize it. If not you will fall back to BGN, and also "AC" doesn't improve your speed.

Yes, my house wifi is "AC" , so it able to utilised it. Actually, WIFI is moving towards AC ad. So, with AC wifi adapter, it is good to have right now.

Yup I get what you mean. But your previous statement said AC is faster than BGN which I think is not exactly true. It is kinda misleading tho sweat.gif haha
