I will stay nearby americamura, osaka, plan for a day trip to himeji->kobe->osaka
will utilise the JR west 1 day pass (2300y)

abit confusing with the station in osaka thou, need some clarification

Shinsaibashi subway to umeda -> walk to osaka station -> JR Rapid service to Himeji
the return route will be himeji -> sannomiya -> osaka ?

any other better pass or route?
mouriya/steakland entertain kids (2 years old)?

read about the long Q in himeji castle, and from tripadvisor, some people even comment nothing much insides the castle..( >< ) anyone went there during weekday recently?

anyone has experience going onsen with young children?

we will stay in a ryokan with private onsen, should i bring my 2 year old girl to male onsen or let her mother jaga only @@

thanks then we might need to take turn to jaga her. i think the water will be too hot for her too, she may just play with water and splash to other guest

the ryokan i book doesnt have “private” onsen for family, its only for stay in guest.

haha should have reserve other ryokan instead, but i m amazed with the discription of “can see fuji mountain from every room”..

i may let her mother bring her in the female onsen to see how.. i worry she will keep shouting nen nen when seeing other women (x_x)

Tomorrow will be my last full day in japan.. Plan to do some shopping for cheap souvenirs
which place is recommended in osaka? cheap keychain, magnet etc?

any must buy snack from osaka?
i may visit tenjimbashisuji shopping street.. can find what i m looking for over there?

anyway.. my 2 week in japan is abit eventful.. need to bring my kid to visit kyoto university hospital during midnight.. kena charge about 30k yen for consultation and med, luckily she is fine, and i m relieved. money well spent

Just come back from japan yesterday night, finally end my 14 days trip with my 2 years old kid.. which half of the trip she fall sick, thus we have to compromise itinerary (75% done)

this is one my my favorite shoot while i m in kawaguchiko lake.

few of the regrets during my trip
-burn arashiyama scenic ticket
-give up visitting autumn/christmas illumination
-initially i intend to buy and bring back a futon mattress set from japan during my last day in osaka.. but in the end give up as i dont think able to carry it myself to airport.
should start shopping earlier as many shop offer free delivery to airport.. (but need few days in advance)

abit offtopic here, anyone knw where to buy a “good but affordable” futon in malaysia.
