What softwares you all use?? I got many kinds of reading using different programs.. and i think core temp and TAT is much trustable..

[Mobo bios (Gigabyte GA- DS3 F6 bios) - 42C
Speedfan 4.31 - 41C
Core temp 0.93 - 50C
Intel TAT - 52C

When under 100% load under TAT is 65C

While the Maximum Thermal Specification according to INTEL for C2D is 61.4°C, this is considered the maximum temperature for the CPU. shocking.gif

thanks guys!

elmoboy, coretemp and TAT measures the temperature of the diode in the CPU itself, so it's the most accurate (and hence higher readings compared to eg speedfan).

So the Maximum Thermal Specification according to INTEL for C2D at 61.4°C is measure from where?
