you mean model R1700BT? your message do really let me think of whether go budget like 1700 or choosing either s2000mkiii or A80 Airpulse.

Do you think R1700BT lack of "bass"? I am not that heavy bass head, sufficient is more than enough.

I am rather happy with S530D except some mid/high were rather ear piercing/sharp, so wondering whether either R1700BT + T5 subwoofer or S2000mkiii/A80 airpulse. What do you think?

Gonna use it for my PC and will be use to listen to song 100%.

Personally not into gaming and wont be watching movie with my PC.

Currently my S530D subwoofer is below the table, left corner of my desk. Both satellites were placed in left and right, about 70cm away from the wall and pointed towards me which is in the centre.

I see Airpulse A80 was selling for RM1.6-1.7k during Lazada Sales and wondering whether is it worth an investment. Then, might be consider to add in a subwoofer.

If the sound quality difference is just subtle or average person won't be hearing any difference, I might as well just buying something cheaper like R1700BT.
