I think Grace SDAC is very good for you. I really love it with my headphone and speaker system.

its hard to find edifier s350db in northern region...i dont think there is shop got sell...have to travel all the way to kl to buy it...For speakers, i dont dare to purchase online...i am afraid that the logistic throw the packaging and spoil the speakers.

Edifier R1280T should fit the bill at 350. Should be sufficient bass for games and movies.

Monitor speakers sound good but they might feel underwhelming for games and movies. I just got a 5" monitor and despite sounding excellent, it doesn't feel like it's good for games and movies. I'm using my swans d1080iv for that. Wanted to recommend but unfortunately seems to be no longer available.

Hi guys. A newbie here. I am currently using my laptop speaker and looking for a new speaker.

Budget: RM 300-400
Usage: Spotify, YouTube, drama, movies, some casual gaming (red dead redemption 3, league of legends, etc)
Other criteria: Bluetooth connection to connect to my phone

Really need the expertise here. Any ideas on what speaker can I get? I am eyeing on the Edifier R33BT, R1280DB and R1700BT but can't really make a decision since I am really new to speaker. Or is there any better option? Really appreciate the help.

You don't need an amp for an active setup like yours. Maybe a DAC if you really want to upgrade something, although that also is not really necessary since you're using optical connection to your TV.

Save your money, later change or add new speakers instead.

Hello everyone, currently looking for a sound system at small living room, usage about 70% music (Youtube, Spotify), 30% movie (Android Tv Box, Netflix).

Now i'm eyeing at Samsung Q950A Soundbar, which having some tempting promo going now, but i don't mind stretching the budget to Sonos Arc + Sub.

I'm more to music person (No gaming), and prefer more clarity from the sound, currently open to any recommendation (budget RM5k - 8k), thanks!
