QUOTE(lol4291 @ Jun 26 2015, 02:52 PM) I have a similar question as tryingtolearn.. I have a maximum budget of rm1000 for a 5.1 speaker and max of rm300 for a 2.1 system.. Recommend me good ones.. The 1k speaker gonna use with tv system.. the rm300 is for desktop.. QUOTE(tryingtolearn @ Jun 25 2015, 11:51 PM) Thank you i will keep that in mind. I do prefer edifier compared to others (though never used any but tested 1 or 2). If for a budget of RM200-RM350, which 2.1 speaker would be good? Thanks. For RM1k 5.1 speaker the Edifier DA5100 is good. Since it is for TV you might need to locate the sub somewhere visible for the remote to point at as the controls/sensors are at the subwoofer for RM300 2.1 if you can squeeze a little for HCS2330 it would be cool But the HCS2330 is quite hard to find nowadays so the P3080M is a good choice. Problem is that the volume knob is difficult to reach

Hi guys
Can reccomend me a good 2.0/2.1 speakers, upgrade from 5 year old rm100+ edifier 2.1 speakers
Use: Mainly gaming and movies on desktop, using external DAC
Deciding between at AE A5+ and Swan M50W
Is the A5+ worth the extra rm500 than the m50W, seeing the A5+ doesnt have a sub (My bass preference is just enough punch like listening to R&B without it disrupting the mids and highs)
Any other reccomendations within the above price range of speakers?
Thanks

Would like a speaker which will be connected to iphone 5 to play songs.
Can I have both bluetooth and non bluetooth options? So that I can decide which to go for. The bluetooth is non portable one since I will only be using it at home.
Budget around RM150-250.

You won't be getting 100% same bass as vs4621 but it is better sounding as it is more responsive. You can consider edifier r2800 for loose bass or r2700 for tighter bass

I find my S530D is soft and gentle to be considered well blend for smooth jazz and not aggressive type for EDM You might want to test it with your ears to double confirm as reading will only get your imagination this far.

I was told they are bad in quality but I don't really get any real news in failures. (you can try it. they are not my cup of tea though. they sounded weird) But vinnfier and eacan speakers are lightweight. Not something I would like in speakers.
