That's actually helpful lol. Btw do you have any other recommendations for my usage? Other than those above. I can topup abit more if worth it.

if more to general use average of movies, gaming and music.. i will certainly goes for 2.1 rather than 2 channels. Edifier C3x can be consider over its clarity also. But the bass not so punchy if u can accept it. I am using C3 before i change to S350db. C3x should have the same footprint expect the look is different. They have an external amp instead of having the amp being put inside the woofer/satellite. Try to audition it over big retails and see which sound do you like more.

There's the Edifier XM6BT if you find the M3600D too big. Cheaper iirc for a smaller speaker

I think i will try out Edifier XM6BT and see whether it is good enough , and save me some money for other poison lol. bruce.gif

Hi , I am going to purchase a bluetooth speaker around rm300 and the ue wonderboom 2 would be my choice as i have seen some good review about it. But is there any other speaker that is better than wonderboom 2 ? thanks!

There's also the Anker Soundcore 2 if you don't mind a slightly bigger speaker for bigger sound

I don't own the exact TPA3116 amp but the platform used with TPA3116 is very effecient and powerful for its size.
It can replace my NAD302 for driving a pair of my big Sony SS-D201 speakers while providing enough power to drive JVC CSGD-1210 300w subwoofer with a quarter of the power.
They do distort on the treble when I push it close to their promised 2x50W but since you are using small efficient speakers from C3 you'll probably have tons of headroom.

Edifier original amp may be tuned for the speakers but they are not efficient and with EIDC causing distortion, I think you'll be happy with the current chinese amp offerings.

And it's half your RM400 budget for replacements so I'd say its quite a good deal to try out. Nothing really can compare to your C3 with RM400 now other than downgrades nod.gif

As for if it sounds good or not? I'm not sure. My TPA3116 amp didn't sound good when I pair with my Edifier S530D with muddy mids coming out from the subwoofer. The amp I linked has a crossover point and it should solve my issue of vocals coming out of my subwoofer. With my car subwoofer I have a passive crossover so that isn't an issue

Overall the fullrange part is pretty okay

I made it my own from scrap wood planks and screwing some cheap furniture legs to it. sweat.gif
It was some roof planks iirc. Not too sure what wood but it's coarse and needed a lot sanding before its usable.

The listing is not there d. But it's an easy find if you type TPA3116D2 amplifier in shopee or lazada. It's around RM50 the last time I got them + RM15 for 24v PSU

I think if you got budget u get this one better.
Aiyima A03
Much better control and sound compared to the plastic one

Side question not related to audio: What you used to paint it? I need something similar for my bed, transparent and matte. Varnish/polyurethane/shellac/laquer? Spray or brush paint?

I use the ciplak shellac from hardware store. Comes in glass bottle I think RM6 or 12 I forgot? (Chose somewhat light color but end up staining wood too much)
Only used kitchen towel to clean and unused torn A4 paper as brush to wipe/scrape the thick shellac goo. (Would be better if got brush but couldn't buy during MCO)

Then the shellac dried off I just sand it down with 400 and 1000 grit to even things up and spray 3 thin coat of samurai clear coat before drilling and screwing legs.

Total 3 day of waiting. Day 1 sanding and shellac, Day 2 and 3 is just clearcoat spray and dry. End of Day 3 is to put legs. flex.gif
