This looks like the 4.5% MBB offer that I described. Except yesterday the MBB branch claimed that MBB guarantee the capital. But looks like capital NOT guaranteed !!!

So this makes me hesitate and may pull out all my eggs in MBB and put else where. Ha ha ha !  tongue.gif

On a brighter note, depositors get higher returns based on slightly higher risk

For this promo, can I withdraw the capital after 6mth (after got 4.05% interest)?

I went to Port Klang branch and ask, the girl seems like blur blur.. Said "can take out after 6 months but cannot".. Langsung tak tau apa dia cakap..  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

And... What is the best rate for short term FD? (3-5mth). Which bank?
*
In fact, must complete entire duration to enjoy promotion rate
If u withdraw half way, they will follow normal board rate

Yes, you can.
You get the 4.05% full after 6 months.
You can use this as short term (6 months FD) as well.

The officer told me no

Anyone trying out Instant Interbank Fund Transfer (IBFT) through M2U?  The fee (0.53) is supposed to be waived from today till 31-Dec.  I tried but kept getting rejection code (0089).  Ended up using GIRO costing 0.11.

first time experience so far so good. services are good too.

applied fd promo + opening casa (smartsavers) last year, the staff managed well.

I'll be there probably next week or so to withdraw my casa (been dumping 1k/mth to gain max interest tier) and put to a decent fd promo (probably uob or mbb)
