When Mirror's Edge was first launch, it was one of the reason I bought that 9800GTX due to the 8800GTS is total fail when it comes to Physx. Now I need to change the 680GTX as well???

I have been meaning to play this game Mirror's Edge but never got a copy yet. I like the parkour concept, it is refreshing to have the freedom to just run over obstacles without stopping. I look forward to the reboot

Somehow looking at the trailer, it reminds me of an old pc game called Oni, featuring a female heroine taking down armored security personnel with melee fighting. My cup of tea

I tried Oni before, that time I only have 166MHz. Now have better PC but too much trouble to run an old game like that liau.

You can get Mirror's Edge pretty cheap now? I bought it when on sales sometimes ago no Amazon. Around $4.99 if not mistaken. What i'm most interested in ME2 (Mirror's Edge.. not Mass Effect ) is the combat. I kind of like the fast run and fly kick, disarming and stuff. The only real fear is when there's too many people shooting at you and you will die fast.

It will look awkward if Faith out a sudden having a bubble shield? Or maybe an ability that slow time to evade bullets? I think it will be wrong if Faith suddenly have a pistol and kill people? But i don't think that's the flavor of the game.

Since Faith is a fast runner, it make sense to have a slow time ability for 2-3 secs that you can evade bullets (just like Matrix?) so that you don't get owned if there's too many guards with SMGs.

Yeah, with the advancement of new tech, the older games are slowly and slowly disappearing from our mind making way for new games. I'm honestly very surprised there is someone who knows Oni still!!

I will wait for the sales season then. Haha..yeah, when you mentioned ME2, Arch, I straight away thought of Mass Effect 2, can't believe how powerful the impact of Mass Effect series has on me

It's not another survival game (ie. Outlast, Amnesia, Clocktower, etc) where you have no weapons and just had to run or the ton of games which you can just shoot your way out. This style of play will requires you to plan your attack pattern, be stealthy to takedown your enemies, and aggressive enough to finish the combat fast before you're overpowered. Hmm... I am suddenly picturing Black Widow in my mind...haha

I don't mind if they include a pistol or ability to pick up guns dropped by the enemies. I just hope I can choose to play it my way with quick CQC melee takedown. And that will definitely need a special ability like slow-mo or health regeneration after combat to make it less frustrating dealing with multiple SMG guards all over the place firing at you.
