Get basic Daikin inverter 2hp you won't regret one

Don't listen ppl bullshit lah.

My inverter has been served me from installed till now already close to 7 yrs never service a once or change parts or refill gas at all.

Just a once the wire failure after replace new wire to be works fine.

Inverter just like normal Aircon, even turn on 2-3 hrs or more or whole days the bill still cut into half.

Remember inverter was variable speed, you can adjust high or low temperature as well.

Even set to 26c these was comfort too, unlike non inverter speed in raining day if set on 26c after half and hour the outdoor unit has been cut off then re-start again, for the overall might be too warm and too cold.

If on at night and non-inverter then 1.5hp is good enough. Which around 35-40btuh/sqft. Just make sure the air can reach your seating place. Daikin is good enough for non-inverter. Just get the R410A model which is slightly more efficient. Daikin spare parts also easier to obtain.
I don't think non-inverter can reach 5 star....
My view is if you didn't use the A/C frequent enough then you hardly save enough on electricity to cover the difference between inverter and non inverter which is around RM800. The truth is inverter are using more circuit board and easier to burn then non-inverter. The outdoor circuit board for 2hp inverter is not cheap....
My vote go to 1.5hp non-inverter for your case.

Freshly new air conditioner don't need to refill gas.

Hot air rises, cold air sink ..... no problem

More than 10 years I am using the AC daily. One dont feel the cold air on the 1st floor. The most is at the lower part of the stairs.

Comfortable for ground floor set @ 25 degree.

Install a suitable hp and you wont have much problem.

2hp / 1 5hp / 1.5hp.
