I went to electric shop few days ago and the staff recommend me Haier because have smart clean and i-feel mode.
From what i know diff manufacturer have diff method of self clean.
Seems like this haier self clean method is way more better than self clean by blowing. Is there any other manufacturer using the same method or way more better self cleaning? Is Haier reliable for AC?

Between ODU to IDU will have 4 wires. Ask the installer to show you since you pulling new cables. Earth hijacked as signal is bad practice.

DB to IDU 3 wires.

Motors in metal box (like AC ODU) are best grounded, if they short out and you happen to touch it at that moment wave.gif

Anybody bought Panasonic Airconds recently?  I purchased four Airconds last year April when move into my house and all of them were very bad condition(noisy) after few months.

Claim once for motherboard 1.5hp inverter and now 1.0hp inverter error code.. then there is one 1.0 non inverter blower sound like old car engine damn noisy.

So disappointed with Panasonic brand…

Wondering whether noisy flap and motor entitled for warranty claim? Gonna ring them up soon

i blacklisted Panasonic aircond. Both Panasonic airconds i've owned broke down not just once. worse was after the one year warranty, Panasonic doesn't even bother to arrange someone to come to troubleshoot the airconds. The CS just gave me their so-called contractor numbers to call. Once they gave me 5 numbers. I called all of them and all of them said their schedules full! cannot attend within one week. I called the CS again and she gave me another 3 numbers to call! wtf. got rid of both the airconds and never looked back since.

Oh Damn! Your experience really so sad.. Feel bad for you and now I feel bad for myself as well.

When your aircond was in warranty period, did they honour the warranty and replace anything for you though?

I was thinking how you get rid of all the airconds? You selling off cheap to others? or just dispose it?

during warranty they layan. but first time sent a contractor and didn't resolve the problem of loud weird compressor noise. 2nd time sent own Panasonic technician come to check. another time the nanoe led didn't light up after just one month of use and they also sent Panasonic technician. he showed me rusty solder on the led connection.
i sold the panasonic airconds to used aircon dealers
