Hi sifus, newbie here.
I have recently bought a Sharp aircon from Lazada to replace my 10+ years old AC, want to confirm with you guys if the aircon will fit my existing piping or not.
My old AC (IDU and ODU doesn't match)
IDU: Toshiba RAS-13YKX
ODU: Upson UAC-N19C (cannot find anything related to this)
BTU: roughly 13000 after converting from kW
Suction line OD: Toshiba spec sheet says 12.7mm (1/2 inch), but I measure my old line is 9.52mm (3/8'). Attached spec sheet as pic below.
Gas: R22, old pipe so I expect thickness is 0.51mm at best.
The AC that I bought on Lazada
Model: Sharp AHA12WCD
BTU: 12390
Gas: R32
Suction line OD: 1/2' from website

My original piping is concealed so I really prefer to use back the old line. I am aware that R32 operates at a higher pressure and I am willing to take the risk.
But now the main question is if my original line will fit my new AC set or not? Any advice?
Existing old AC pipes will somehow fit new AC given that they have been expanded to fit 12.61mm dia of the old AC; although not that optimal because pipe size not as per mfg spec.I have recently bought a Sharp aircon from Lazada to replace my 10+ years old AC, want to confirm with you guys if the aircon will fit my existing piping or not.

WCS is the old piping gave up and leak only. I think the copper lines you have won't be that weak at 0.51mm but maybe 0.61 or better mm thickness as copper was not that expensive last time.
