And yet there are Christians who looked down upon such Christians because they don't have status, higher education, etc....

I really don't understand such behaviour.

Sure no Christians is perfect, I get that.

Paul addressed the same issue all the way back since the church's foundation. He taruk them kau kau with his words laugh.gif

You can see some of the action happening in 1 Chorinthians book.
*
Well my BM isn't the best so here goes.

taruk = put (object) location

kau kau = referring to a person

blush.gif

I have no idea what that BM phrases mean. tongue.gif

So I read this Bible summary about Corinthians.

The spirit of independent thinking emphasized so strongly by the Greeks evidently was influencing the Corinthian Christians. Paul's manner of dealing with the problem is noteworthy. He does not insist that all members of the community should think alike on every subject, nor does he advocate that someone with authority should tell others what to believe. What he does insist on is a unity of spirit and purpose that will allow each group to learn from the others.

Paul's account of the resurrection enables us to see how his view differed from those of the ancient Greeks and also from the view found in certain portions of the Old Testament. The Greeks believed in the doctrine of the soul's immortality. According to this doctrine, souls do not have a beginning or an end. They are eternal realities capable of existing apart from the bodies in which they were incarnated. This view was contrary to the Hebrew conception, which viewed man as a single unit including body, soul, and spirit; the soul was not something that existed apart from the body. After death, all went down to Sheol, a cavern below the earth, but no memory or consciousness of any kind attended this state of existence.

In contrast to these views, Paul believed in a genuine resurrection from physical death in which a person's individuality and moral worth would be preserved. But this preservation was not to be a reanimation of the corpse and a continuation of life as it had been before. Flesh and blood, Paul tells us, will not inherit God's kingdom. The body that is raised will not be the natural body but rather a spiritual body. Paul does not tell us what this spiritual body will be like, but he is sure that it will be a body of some kind, for the personality includes body, soul, and spirit, and salvation is not achieved until all three have been transformed together. The Gnostics of Paul's day, who believed that only spirit is good and that all matter is evil, taught that Jesus did not possess a physical body but only appeared to do so. For Paul, this position was untenable: Unless Jesus possessed a body in common with other human beings, his triumph over evil would have no significance for humans. Jesus' resurrection means a triumph of the entire personality over the forces of evil; what it means for Jesus it also means for all those who put their trust in him.

I think technically, Salvation of the Body is yet to be achieved but the Salvation of the Spirit has been given by God through his Son Jesus Christ.

And its given free to us.

Because God gave us victory through Jesus Christ.

Such a wonderful blessing from God yet so many failed to see it.

Amen Bro.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV) - Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
I really don't know Sophiera, the Christian World is very big. There are countless ministers, preachers out there, known and unknown.

You can't count, it's just too many, world wide.

What's important is that Christ must be preached, what He (Christ) has done, not what we have done. That is preaching the New Covenant.

Problem is, most of the time, preaching everywhere is what we must still do about Salvation when it's suppose to be "already done", nothing more to complete what Christ has finished. The problem with the body of Christ today is that many preachers still preaches uncertainty in the sense that you'll never know if you make it to heaven. That I can assure is not from God but understanding born out of the fears of Man. God never instituted this sort of fear.

Well I"m here and (hopefully, Pehkay too) to encourage everyone that our God is a God of certainty in assuring us Salvation.
*
In my understanding from going to various churches in Malaysia, some preachers preached "fear / false" doctrines.

The same goes in overseas churches too. Some even allowed copulation and cohabitation before marriage. sheesh..

And yet at the time we need to extend grace and be patience and not allow emotion to get the better of us towards people in leadership, in the pulpit, etc.
Doesn't matter what we feel is right, still need to respect them.

Hard to live this life Christ has called us to. To be at peace with everyone and to love our enemies...phew.

This only tells me one thing. Only God alone is the rightful judge and executor. We cannot take that role.

Our Role is to pray and exhibit Christ.
*
Respect those in leadership....Well, still do-able...

What if those dudes are found guilty of certain crime, etc?

Not to offend anybody, but do we as Christians still show our support?

To love our enemies...[I] - This is very hard. Without God's strength, I don't think its even possible to achieve.

Yes, God promise justice for us. But yet still some fall short and act out according to their own will.

Not only the Bible acts as a guide to enable us to see, read and hear God's words but it is prerequisite for our eternal salvation. Simple yet hard acts to follow.

Even to those who have read the Bible in its entirety, they still does not accept God. If its that easy, wouldn't the entire earth population accept Jesus as their Saviour?

Which bring to my attention, the verse, Matthew 7:13 -14 - "For the gate is small, and the way is narrow that leads to life, and few are those who find it."

Not all are saved. I realized that. Well, I guess only God know best.

Yeah sad part of reality. I know one rich guy from a cheras church...he own a car spare part biz dam rich. His house is bigger than the church..he lives near publika. His house got an elevator..i once confronted him why the one cg so political..he told me off its not a social club..well then why call each other bro or sis? I feel like working in an office not going to church. Why cant we hv joy n fellowship? He even preach againsy being rich while his house so big. Typical asian attitude la..the youths all listen to him cause he has money n power. There was once i was accused by the pastor there that i am an outsider...i ask him for advice..he just say i am imaginating.

I got another problem.. most of the guys at church r territorial. When they see me..they refuse to share their ministries or befriend me bcause they view me as a threat to the supply of their potential ladies for marriage even though i am already attached. Once in awhile i bring her to my church but church so big they dun see me with her so they still thk i am single.

Bcause they r so selfish in not sharing n asking me to join their minustries i purposely dun want to introduce potential christian partners to these selfish guys.
*
hehe...Well that's the typical rich people attitude there. I think some churches practiced "cliche group", "don't ask don't tell", etc...hehe..

That's why I mind my own business and I don't get too friendly with my cg. Hehe...Sorry guys, but that's the truth in Malaysian churches. You can't please everybody and sometimes you get picked on for even the ridiculous things. doh.gif

Money talks everywhere..not just in churches.. brows.gif icon_idea.gif

Well, some treat foreigners differently. Which is not right in my opinion. Why the double standard? Just because Mat Salleh are "special"?

Its ok just to maintain a straight face conversation within church sorroundings. I'm only comfortable with some church members outside church.

I even know some rich dude who owns a import export business, drive expensive car, big house (no elevator), even have nice cats. lust.gif lust.gif

But not my type because his spiritual level worse than donkey.

Dude, what is wrong with guys in your church? Seriously? hmm.gif

Ok enough ranting today.

I'm just moody.

There is this church call Charrriiiis...worse than my church. The pastor there lan see one. I just visitor there i kena treated like crap..all the youths there were born to the parents who were original members...so they behave like bumi at the church. Some they dam rich..they all live in big houses in cheras. Some even move to hartamas or old klang. So much unkindness...

I was there as a yourh for 3 yrs..finally cannot tahan their politics...their youth got a master race mentality...i didnt even made a single fren there. And they really work u up till death in the ministry...they dun encourage fellowship n frenship in the youth ministry. I feel like i kena boikot there for years. Try to be nice n strike conversation but most of them stick to cliche build up by their leaders. They say nasty things at me like i am outsider.

Some of their youth there dam dumb one..dun even know why they go to church for....basic john 3:16 also dunno. The youth leaders try to bring their inner circle to big bungalow houses to impress them n make them go through some christian lesson through some books..these jokers also hv trouble to understand. After meeting..dun even hv prayer for each other. The joker leader only pray 5 second...apa ini? How to build up self n uphold one another?

I finally gave up n went to another church. I hv problems with my current but reason why i stay is bcause this cheras church is the worst i ever experienced. Literally if they had guns would turn the place into jonestown !

The article above still not finish yet. There's still some more..

I am amazed. Absolutely taken away by the presence of God. So blessed for him sending me an angel. So thankful for Hunter and his second chance at life…for his healing and health. We are so fortunate for families who traveled hundreds and hundreds of miles to be with us. And so thankful for all the thoughts and prayers that were sent our way. The power of prayer is real, and it healed me and Hunter. We are in a lot of pain because of the injuries, so any more prayers are appreciated while we recover.

But tonight I’m praying for all of you. If there’s anything you read out of this novel I’m typing up here it’s this: I want everyone to to know the love and the power of God. He has a purpose…and it’s so clear that NOTHING…not even a car accident like this one will cause his plans for you to change. We are put on this beautiful earth for a reason and the reason is to help people know Him. We are made to show and share His love. And if it takes a car wreck like this for me to get to do that then I would do it all over again.

I’m praying that everyone who reads this can get a glimpse of Gods faithfulness. He is GOOD. And working. And the plans he has for YOU and your life aren’t going anywhere. Good or bad, what you want or what you don’t want…it’s God’s doing. It’s his plans unfolding. It’s his kingdom coming. Embrace the struggles and the joys of this life! Without a doubt it’s a miracle we’re alive, but more than that it’s simply Gods plan for us. We’re so grateful for this wreck and all it will do in our lives. We are blessed to be okay. And so in love with the amazing God we serve.”

Wow. It’s stories like these that really force us to take a step back and fall before the feet of the mighty and loving God that we serve.

It’s one thing to read a scripture like Jeremiah 29:11: For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future… But it’s quite another to see it in full-blown, living, breathing color.

Arika and Hunter knew that the plans God has for them are GOOD, and not even a truck plowing at unthinkable speeds into a pole could stop what He had in store. As Arika wrote, “He has a purpose…and it’s so clear that NOTHING…not even a car accident like this one will cause his plans for you to change.”

Moreover, it’s beautiful to see such tragedy turned around for His glory as this young couple chooses to use their story to draw others closer to Him.

May God use Hunter and Arika mightily to further his kingdom, and may they be richly blessed as they live out the rest of the story He lays before them. I’m excited to see what the future holds for this power couple. God wasn’t done with them yet…and you better believe it’s because He’s got wonderful things in store!

AH-mazing. ♥

SHARE this story of God’s marvelous grace and protection with your friends if you agree!

I read about King Solomon. He had 700 wives and 300 concubines. rclxub.gif

Eventhough God was angry with him, but for the sake of David, God did not entirely destroy his kingdom.

Because 1 chosen tribe of Solomon's son was going to be the descendant line of Jesus.

Did I get it right? hmm.gif
