Just read somewhere so far only around 25000 tickets are sold for the match... Not even half of the stadium, hope everyone who can at least will try to make it. I know the team had a terrible season but let's support the team no matter what...

Went to New Balance outlet to clarify, apparently there is no minimum purchase. Just need to purchase anything and flash Chatime card and fill up a form.

Hopefully can get the tickets and LFC home kit too wub.gif wub.gif

Winger Deal Confirmed, $24.6m Move Close

Moreover, in other reports, Metro claim that Liverpool are closing in to sign $24.6m rated Real Madrid defender Asier Illarramendi as the Spanish giants are looking for his replacement.

The former Real Sociedad star will be a brilliant addition to the starting XI and Reds may finally have someone who can come close to replacing legendary Xabi Alonso at the club.

Not to forget, Liverpool also need a top quality goalscorer this summer to solve the dilemma of strike-force as well

I believe the high priced tickets is everything to do with it.

Many lfc followers here are feeling the pinch given the "extraordinary" circumstances we are currently facing (we are adviced to cook at home, travel less etc) No really. Not making fun out of it but I think understand the demographics of a liver red supporter versus probably other fans of english premier club(s), whom we will omit in discussion here.

I thought the reason for that was because of the high price ticket compared to the last time they came?

But deep in my heart i believe the presence of BR and the absence of Gerrard played a big part too. biggrin.gif

45 vs 50 mil, only 5 mil difference.

Mancity is a rich club, 5 mil also want to save?

Interesting to know if Sterling does go to Mancity, how much will be his wages.
150K? 200K?

his wages probably will be what LFC offered.
but its been reported few days ago that sterling also stands to pocket 4m from part of the agent fees should the 50m evaluation be met.

I prefer not to sell him for anything below 50mil cash. If he wants to leave, put in a transfer request (lose the bonuses there) and tell MC to pay up. Since it isn't about money, I am sure he can take a paycut to help out with the transfer fees.

If no 50mil, he can sit in the youth team, train alone and wait until next year to buy out his contract and we go tribunal for the fees. I wonder what 1 year of no game time will do to his value and form smile.gif

if you check back saido berahino history, there were few attempt by him to "quit" the club for better team. even certain similar tactics were used but the scale were never as big as this. no doubt the "shit" agent will earn a big windfall if sterling successfully engineer his way to mcity.

Tony Barrett - Rodgers will also name a new vice captain to replace Henderson with Lucas Leiva, Mamadou Sakho, James Milner and Martin Skrtel among those under consideration
