Arsenal won't bite more than 25-30mil.
Man city can pay, but you can see they are already shuttering on the increase bids. It will likely be around there. Raheem can improve but he won't anymore under rodgers and he will only be a squad player on the bench at other big clubs. Liverpool might hold on for a better bid(s), chances are other clubs will troll Liverpool n buy other targets (that we should be getting those first than to have them stalling) Our delay (hoping to sell n fund new buys) will mean we will tripped yet again on transfers. I hope Brendan Rodgers and transfer committee learned their lesson from last season and not fuk on dealing yet again This post has been edited by koolspyda: Jun 17 2015, 09:42 PM |

QUOTE(lcy851031 @ Jun 18 2015, 07:26 PM) With the leaky defense and knowing how tough our start of new campaign next season, I don't think liverpool is anywhere near in securing their targets (defense) I think Liverpool made a decision to keep skrtel (possibly lessening their demands that he must fulfill 80% appearances to claim his full salary.) It's a good start to stablise the squad after lots of uncertainty. After gomez, Next up should be confirming some leads on coaches. |

I’m just having my medical now!” Rafa's response? “You don’t need a medical Robbie. You need a miracle!” |

QUOTE(yeelong @ Jun 21 2015, 12:10 AM) As much as I hate to say, perhaps that disgruntled fan has substantial evidence or at least judging by the lack of FSG presences (John Henry) coming forth in and claiming fans rears. If this comes thru, I sure there will (or at least there must might) be some fans blaming those anti Brendan Rodgers/questioning FSG all these while as the reason for bailing out /quiting on Liverpoolfc) FSG hasn't quote been forthcoming in their support of late, perhaps they too are perplexed that after spending much money with Kenny and Rodgers we have not progressed much?? "They (FSG) are in for the 'LONG TERM'", that's what some Kopites have assured the other fans. FSG used to say that in the past, but they kinda got quite silent of late. Perhaps we are the writer is overthinking. Maybe it's nothing. But somehow with the depressed outlook, I kinda may think the story might be more substances than false alarm I hope it's fake news too. But then.. QUOTE KOPTALK has been informed that a potential buyer is currently investigating a takeover with sources claiming that talks are at an advanced stage. Whether or not FSG will proceed with this option we simply do not know. Sources also claim that FSG will not authorise any significant spending above the club's normal budget and that major club decisions will continue to be postponed. An internal 'lock down' on communication from within the club will remain in place, we can only assume as a result of this interested party sniffing around us. (ED: 'Lock down' explained ... we were informed several weeks ago that the club's press office had been instructed to issue no comments during the ongoing media attention surrounding the end of season review, Rodgers' position, potential replacements, the transfer committee, coaching changes etc). Lock down, is kinda been happening of late? No? This post has been edited by koolspyda: Jun 21 2015, 12:43 AM |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Jun 24 2015, 05:15 PM) thats the way we should do business. secure our real targets (first), apart from the free transfer ones.don't wait till last minute like in the past and we are left stupidly short. Yes i admit i know nothing of him, Not much to tell from the linked youtube (we don't judge ability on short clips but he appears at least he is not clumsy (better footed) or awkward. And for him to be in brazil national team, that must at least be a highlight point |

QUOTE(melt @ Jun 25 2015, 11:29 AM) Maybe those misses collection where submitted for Manu consideration. Once a while players do miss open goals, but they always make up for it. At Liverpool there is a saying, form is temporary. Class is permanent. At least it applies for lfc legends footballers, not sure it includes managers This post has been edited by koolspyda: Jun 25 2015, 11:04 AM |

QUOTE(Mikeshashimi @ Jun 25 2015, 12:09 PM) I'm pretty sure our boy couthinho put a good word about Liverpool kopites and how passionate kopites are to hope our team succeed. I was many manu fans were quite excited that when he was linked to them. Probably a downer news for them despite many of them trying to put a brave front saying Manu was really never in the chase for him and it's just a smokescreen for other players etc. Thank you courthinho |

QUOTE(AnythingK @ Jun 25 2015, 02:44 PM) Very impressive video, but I wonder he used how many times to get that 1 time success. Yeah, we know such videos are actually after dozens of takes. But that doesn't ungloss the fact, try, try, try until you get it. Sounds legit. But I don't expect Ings and Origi to score for fun. I commented in my FB, hell, I couldn't even do a decent shot on basket, this fella uses his feet. Troll much. |

QUOTE(AnythingK @ Jun 26 2015, 09:19 AM) Just saying, I am not condemning BR to buy so many players this season, because we all wanted a revamp. i had the exact same thought. But, don't you think we are doing a bad business? Last season BR bought bunch of players, replacing the first 11 almost entirely, and now this season, again bought a bunch of players, and I expect a new first 11 again. Will this ever end? I don't want Liverpool to do bad, but later this new line-up fucked up, BR will again blame that new players need times to gel, building for the future. TBH, we didn't even see much of Lallana, and Markovic yet. And what about Llori? Gomez is to replace the long forgotten Llori? And if I am not mistaken, the forgotten Luis Alberto is out on loan and not sold off right? Oh and Moreno and Lovren is pretty much fucked up right? lucky Brendan Rodgers. spend like no tomorrow, 3 seasons already (not work out, salah TC, salah assistant manager, coaches, sacked, gets a Six-One, soon to shipped those who failed him) Many will say gip chance cause he is young manager. Ok, but really the excuses (some fans) of the current SQUAD OF (PLAYERS) IS NOT HIS, gets lame. Come on la Brendan, IT's be champions (league Title) next season OR at the very least, 2nd place finish at the end of next season. LFc poured a sizeable amount into so many players and NOT selling any player (even if yet-to) to finance another buy. He (BR) is lucky sod. QUOTE(jacckl @ Jun 30 2015, 10:36 AM) just like before, hope for the likes of sami hypia, carragher to become assistant, in the end some unknown low tier take the job Well that's the truth, some kinda burst the Internet when the rumour of pako, hypia, and even carrager as assistant manager. Now, wait, wait n see it's Rodgers old pal again. I don't mind as long they work their guts in the game. The manager is the beacon of the team, hopefully after 3 seasons rodger must must delivery. It has been too many anggan anggan |

QUOTE(AnythingK @ Jun 30 2015, 11:50 AM) Losing Sterling, having more than 5 new players. Next season is transition phase lar, please wait another season for the silverware. then we look back, FSG seems to be making shrewd business then, buy cheap, groom, exploit, hype them & sell them for massive profit??? but somehow 1-2 shrewd business isn't able to overcome the terrible record of having far more duds as far as i remember...no wait. "got potential" quite tired of all this 'potential talk' but showing little to none progress. This post has been edited by koolspyda: Jun 30 2015, 05:04 PM |

QUOTE(bitebug @ Jun 30 2015, 09:23 PM) and IF Rodgers ever gets the book, everyone will be jumping in glee hoping klopp will succeed, mana tahu, suddenly they promote the asst manager Sean O'Driscoll to succeed him at Lfc QUOTE(shamsul_LP @ Jun 30 2015, 10:19 PM) I dont know why u guy want klopp?did his side just battle to survive in bundesliga last year?he can be BR version 2 Klopp early years with dortmund have more success and won trophies before. something we have yet under rodgers. While if trophies aren't the yardstick for some, yes he did made dortmund quite attractive to watch. Criteria for many Liverpool fans who would feel the same about Rodgers too.attractive football (rodgers/daglish) > defensive (rafa, houllier style) This post has been edited by koolspyda: Jun 30 2015, 09:54 PM |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Jul 1 2015, 01:26 PM) of cos la LFC has lowered standard...every season also only top4...lose to stoke also nothing happen. no lar, gerrard had heaps of talent. When he broke into the team, despite being young and very energetic it was bouncing up, down and everywhere, so much so he even gets into trouble outside football, he needed guidance. I remember seeing gerrrad with full blown tackles, many times seemed reckless but he's seen to be able to cover every blades of grass. so eager. sometimes too much. so much energy... and in that it was only from mentoring from gerrard houllier else he could have easily been another wasted talent. It was under rafa he upped the lid for gerrard to another level, that all.but ibe is good, no doubt about that. gerrard also didnt really hit his stride until after a couple yrs of making his first team debut...so he too had "potential" back then How many youths have broken into first team and stayed there? none after gerrard. which is what I'm implying QUOTE Liverpool FC comment: O'Driscoll appointment shows FSG's faith in Rodgers is unwavering wait la you all, next season Rodger & O'Driscoll will unleash Liver B R A Z I L A Some had hoped for a nod to the club’s glorious past with cherished names such as Pako Ayesteran, Jamie Carragher, Sami Hyypia and Robbie Fowler mentioned as possible contenders. Others wanted an outsider with a trophy-laden CV such as former Manchester United coach Rene Meulensteen. O’Driscoll, the current coach of England Under-19s, doesn’t tick either box – but his imminent arrival as Brendan Rodgers’ new No 2 is highly significant. It says more about owners Fenway Sports Group’s unwavering faith in Rodgers than even the £29milllion swoop for Roberto Firmino When Colin Pascoe and Mike Marsh were off-loaded following the club’s end of season review, the perception was that Rodgers had been left isolated and vulnerable. That the Northern Irishman had been given a stay of execution following a wretched campaign but that FSG had forced sweeping changes upon him with his trusted lieutenants shown the door. The conspiracy theorists even wondered whether Pascoe and Marsh had been given the boot by Mike Gordon in the hope that Rodgers would fall on his sword and save Liverpool the expense of paying up the final three years of his contract. He is one of the best coaches I have ever come across’ Anfield officials were adamant that Rodgers had been heavily involved in the discussions and was fully supportive of the decision to overhaul the backroom staff. The identity of the new No 2 certainly adds weight to that argument. FSG haven’t shaken things up by bringing in their own man and telling Rodgers to get on with it, they have effectively allowed the Liverpool manager to handpick Pascoe’s successor. It’s a huge show of support. Some will question the wisdom of appointing someone who was sacked by Nottingham Forest and Bristol City before taking over England Under-19s last September. But O’Driscoll, who won promotion with both Bournemouth and Doncaster, is highly respected as a coach. And of course the best coaches don’t always make great managers with YouTube providing some entertaining examples of O’Driscoll’s often fractious relationship with the media. Rodgers’ admiration for the former Republic of Ireland international is long standing with the pair sharing the same beliefs about how the game should be played. Both won plaudits during their time in the Championship for their bold approach. Both are big believers in the merits of sports psychology. When in 2013 the FA’s Greg Dyke set up a new commission to investigate the state of the national game, Rodgers spoke in glowing terms about O’Driscoll when criticising in general the standard of coaching in England for the lack of talent coming through. “We need to stop blaming the players. The coaching in this country is the problem,” he said. “The problem is that the guys who are ‘that type’ of (expansive) coach, you never hear of them really. “Look at Sean O’Driscoll. He is one of the best coaches I have ever come across. “He is working at Bristol City. He has never had a chance in the top flight. His teams were expressive, had movement, they were technical, but he will probably never get a chance at a higher level.” Now Rodgers has given O’Driscoll that opportunity, Ironically nicknamed ‘Noisy’ in his playing days, the quiet 57-year-old will be able to focus on what he does best – working with and improving players away from the glare of the cameras. O’Driscoll isn’t a box office name but he doesn’t need to be. Rodgers rates him and believes they will work well together to make Liverpool a force to be reckoned with once again. all playing expansive total football This post has been edited by koolspyda: Jul 1 2015, 01:11 PM |
