HLB Mach @ Mid Valley, i also brought NRIC only. Gotten card within 1 hour too.

MBB @ KLCC also got EPF machine. Brought NRIC there only. But gotten the Ikhwan card about 1 week later. Wasnt rushing for it anyway.

i did my agoda booking (pay immediately) using cimb cr on 12 Oct, already gotten the cashback.

that's what made me wonder about it too!

since day 1 i applied until now (3 months already), i've been getting cashback within same month of transactions!

that's cross border fee.

however, it's a hit-or-miss for Groupon cuz the payment processors selection is random: sometimes local-based, sometimes overseas-based.

i made 4 groupon transactions previously, 2 got charged extra 0.8%, the other 2 are without.

that's the transacted amount, but additional 0.8% will be added to that amount when posting to your account.

nothing new. others gotten extra card too.

call cs to terminate the extra immediately. don't keep it if no plan to use it.

PIN & PAY lets you make purchases by keying in a PIN, with no signature required. In an industry-wide initiative, all card transactions in Malaysia will be PIN & PAY from 1 January 2017 onwards.

We are phasing in the new CIMB Bank cards progressively, starting with credit cards in December 2015 and debit cards in January 2016.
