Anyone knows what's the merchant code for Lazada? Thanks
*
Why so? Lazada will get 5% rebate and during weekends another 10% if I'm not wrong. smile.gif

*
If you were saying 5% CR, if I'm not wrong Astro can get but not UniFi.

CIMB is known to be generous, gave me 23k when I applied but I haven't spent more than 500 bucks in a single statement. laugh.gif

I just noticed I paid the outstanding balance and not statement balance. doh.gif

God bless me, hope there is no interest charges.

But I'm willing to try once and see how it goes. laugh.gif

If it really happens, I will argue with the CS. tongue.gif

i thought outstanding balance = statement balance + current usage?
*
I didn't spend anything these few weeks.

So technically it only consists of my July statement + cash rebate. I thought we are not supposed to deduct out the cash rebate when making payment as there is a risk that it will be considered as short pay?

if your cb comes in after your statement out, you may just pay the balance after deducted with the cb.
*
Yeah, this is what I did for Maybank previously.

Somebody mentioned on this thread there is a risk it will be calculated as short pay by CIMB.

Good to hear that. Then, I can close down my CIMB CR once VOX comes. smile.gif
Short stay but I guess that's sufficient for now. Till we meet again. bye.gif

Outstanding balance usually higher than statement balance.

Pretty sure you're not in any risk for penalty.

Heck, if everyone pays their outstanding instead of statement balance at every billing cycle, the bank would be happy tongue.gif
*
As I mentioned, I didn't spend anything these few weeks, so technically my outstanding balance is lower than statement balance. tongue.gif

i am looking around for a credit card, was considering the CIMB cash rebate, is this better of is the maybank dual card (with Ammex) better ? only going to use it mainly for work travel.
*
A lot of cards are better than CIMB CR and Maybank2Cards.

It depends on your usage. CIMB CR is mainly useful if you do a lot of online transactions. smile.gif

Thanks.. you rock!  rclxms.gif

OT though, you can proceed further in UOB thread.
You will need to swipe at least once per month, else it will impose your monthly charges of RM 6.

To qualify for cash back, minimum transaction is RM 50.

It's normal, other banks are also like this. smile.gif

Side note, you can apply better cards for petrol. smile.gif
