Guys,

Would like to ask is there anyone notice that CIMB Cash Rebate Gold MasterCard no longer showing in CIMB website? Only showing CIMB Cash Rebate Platinum MasterCard..

They remove Cash Rebate Gold? Wondering if they will auto upgrade current Cash Rebate Gold card holder..

[attachmentid=4651502]
*
They revised the eligibility as well, from previously 60k now drops to 24k. laugh.gif
"The minimum income requirement for CIMB Cash Rebate Platinum MasterCard is RM24,000 per annum."

24k for Plat, I really laugh.gif Unless they are coming up a better card for Plat holders?

Anyway, I'm terminating my CIMB CR Plat soon.

cimb clicks utilities bill payment options seriously lacking.
tnb, celcom, unifi can only pay via saving account cannot use CC sad.gif

does on9 bill payment counted as on9 purchase can get 5% CB? or 2% only?
now MBB M2Amex cannot use for bills, HLB Wise already maxed CB...finding other option for utilities payment
*
I think only Astro has 5%, the rest no.

*
How do you plan to use this CIMB CR Plat to replace MBB2Cards? unsure.gif
Since this CR is more benefited for online transactions, unless you spend a lot on online transactions. hmm.gif

Mine too because it was sent to my hometown address which I have told them gazillion times not to send it to that address. It should be sent to my office address.

So yeah, that happened to me.

Eventually, they cancelled the earlier card (that sent to my hometown) and resent again a new card to my office.

However, both cards arrived into my office. Apparently the cancelled card is also requested to be sent to my office. doh.gif

One good thing is it uses Poslaju and not snail mail, so it is still traceable. smile.gif

really? Mine were using snail mails.

Really? Mine was Poslaju and they left a card in my hometown to collect which I cannot.
So, CIMB cancelled my card and at the same time requested them to resend my cancelled card to my office. doh.gif

Once my VOX approves, then I will cancel my CIMB CR.

No point of keeping so many cards. sweat.gif

I can't say I don't feel the same way.
Previously, it's every 28th of the month.

Now, next month only can get.
*
sweat.gif Next month which day? Either way also cannot offset our spending before paying right?
Now I'm thinking how to cancel my card with cash rebate in it? I hope can be credited into my CASA. hmm.gif
Wait till my VOX is approved first, now just keep it...

Any cash back from CIMB  will only be valid at the next statement... This is regarding all the previous CB from promotions, not monthly one, as this is the first month where it's done, so who knows (CIMB does), but just to be safe pay in full... so you pay before you get it back...
*
Alright, understood. Thanks. smile.gif

QUOTE(BeastX @ Aug 3 2015, 08:18 AM)
I believe there are no banks that would update the "statement balance".... even if you make the full payment immediately...

"Outstanding balance" will be reflecting your cash back...

You'll notice the "min payment" amount still stands.... MBB would deduct it, not with CIMB....

A year or so ago I got RM200 in "cash rebate" well in advance of my statement due date, I excluded it from payment on the due date, and I was hit with interest of a few ringgit on the following statement 2 weeks later... so even with wining the recent RM100 cash back, I paid my statement without exclusion... Once bitten twice shy...
*
Thanks for sharing. hmm.gif
I don't have unbilled transactions, so not sure to offset or accumulate it. hmm.gif
