My cimb credit available limit around rm1000 only. Want to buy iPhone 6s from maxis. since maxis is participating merchant for easy payment, I want to do easy payment. You think can approve or not?
*
Nah, not enough of credit limit.
Else you go and bank in that amount to this card via cash deposit to top up your limit. biggrin.gif

Actually to know a credit card scam is to see if the SMS mentions the last 4 digits of your credit card no.
If it doesn't, then it's a scam.

If it is and you don't perform such transaction, call your bank to block the card due to fraud case.

Thanks, need to bring anything else beside MyKAD?

If you are a EPF contributor then only MyKad will work because it has an EPF machine to print your statement.

Do you guys have any idea how to link newly applied credit card to my existing cimbclicks acct.?
*
Mine was linked automatically even before I got my physical card.

Suggest you to make a call to CS if it's not linked.

Online Purchase of Caring Voucher

Caring Pharmacy Voucher can be purchased at this website.

For CIMB Cash Rebate Platinum MasterCard, can this online purchase be considered as an online transaction (under POSMODE 81) which gives us 5% cash back?

I am considering in getting this card for pharmacy transactions, since I am not qualified for Public Bank Visa Signature Card.  blush.gif

So far nobody has tried and reported here. Why don't you try small amount first?

*** QUESTION IS ***
for CIMB Cash Rebate, i buy at Tesco, will get 2% or 0.2%
what kinda of retails which entitle 0.2% rebate? clothes? shoes?

for all 3 card, the annual fee waived without any rules right? (at least RM50 swipe)
but the banker told me even annual fee waived, still got RM50 gst fee for each card, true?
fee applied after card activated or no matter activated or not still fee applied?
*
Tesco should be 2%.
Yes, out of groceries and online will be 0.2%.

At least I know CIMB CR has no AF. So there is nothing for you to waive. You don't spend then you don't need to pay.
Ask the banker to continue dreaming. laugh.gif Government Service Tax has been abolished for all cards once Goods and Services Tax came effect on 1st April, so no more RM 50.

I had made a purchase with credit card CIMB mastercard from apple store malaysia for Iphone 6s + with price RM 4199. Receipt that I received showing RM 4199. But why in CIMB credit card statement it charges me for RM 4232.59?
Anyone can help me on this? Thanks.
*
It is due to cross borders charges, CIMB has this.
Never use CIMB cards for Apple products purchases.

Learn something new for me as never discover that before.  tongue.gif
Means any purchase through apple store Malaysia with any kind credit card will occur cross border fee?
*
Nope, only specific credit cards. I know CIMB is one of them, the rest I cannot recall.
Last year I used my Maybank cards and no cross borders chargers.

guys, the cimb cash rebate platinum mastercard got 5% discount for online transactions right? which area cannot get cash rebates? got cap at RM 50 per month right
*
Yes, 5% for online transactions but bear in mind the cap is RM 30 for online transactions and RM 20 is for other retail transaction.
In a way, the maximum you can spend for online is only RM 600.
