QUOTE(roy918 @ Oct 3 2015, 10:29 AM) Watch out. Not all bank has free IBFT, at least not Ambank. I know since he was asking about CIMB Clicks and I have shared all the participating 15 banks in General CC thread earlier. QUOTE(Jeffreynsx @ Oct 3 2015, 10:34 AM) How about Maybank, Public Bank or Hong Leong bank? Is it applicable for free IBFT? I read through CIMB clicks official website this promotion is applicable to GIRO as well. Not sure is it true? Yes but not for GIRO, still charged for RM 0.11 unless CIMB also gives that for free.

QUOTE(theanswerL2 @ Oct 3 2015, 01:15 PM) sorry noob in cimb cash rebate card. you mean 5 % rebate of 11street , even i use coupon in 11street website . my cimb card still give me 5 % rebate in my coming statement.? I don't know if there's any existing promo on 11 street but if you use CIMB CR, you will get 5%. So if there's any other additional promo will be promo+5% and the 5% will be reflected in your next statement.

QUOTE(rhodry @ Oct 7 2015, 07:06 PM) Hey guys, I did a brief search in this thread but couldn't find an answer for this. Does anyone know if we buy a laptop through the Dell or HP online store (where they courier the laptop to you), would this payment be categorised as "E-Commerce / Online Spend" for cashback purposes? Yes, I supposed it's online transactions. Just be careful if it has cross border charges, I know Apple Store has.

Can't believe that I have received RM 14.40 of cash back for groceries category using my CR Plat. It's only 2% and I really thought I wouldn't use this benefit at all.

QUOTE(theanswerL2 @ Oct 7 2015, 10:03 PM) That was last time and I applied and got mine also based on 60k p.a. However, last month I think they revised to 24k already. No more gold card as per their website information.

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Oct 8 2015, 12:17 AM) The perks are really something...but..one of the highest published requirement: The minimum income requirement for CIMB Enrich World Elite MasterCard is RM250,000 per annum. The minimum requirement is still attainable for 21k per month, there are tonnes of managers at that level but to spend at least RM 1 million to waive its AF, I really doubt so.

QUOTE(bananalow @ Oct 8 2015, 12:22 AM) I dont think they mind the annual fee if they want the card. Money is not a problem for them  Say if the person earns the minimum requirement 22k, I doubt s/he will spend so much - RM 1 million. Monthly spending is much much higher than their salary. Unless just pay for it. If I can qualify and I want it, yeah like you said, just pay for the AF. This post has been edited by fruitie: Oct 8 2015, 12:24 AM

QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Oct 9 2015, 10:17 PM) I think that's not true. I've always paid the amount after deducting the rebate and no interest charged. just look at this way, any money that you 'pay' whether by rebate, refund or transfer goes to clearing the statement balance. as long as it's done by the statement due date, u shouldn't be charged any interest. have u confirmed with the cs? Yeah me too, for my CIMB CR, I have been deducting my cash rebate before payment. So far, no interest yet. For other cards, I don't do like this though.

QUOTE(-kytz- @ Oct 10 2015, 01:12 AM) Erm, what sort of documents I need to provide to apply for the Platinum Cash rebate again? Weird, I can't find anything at their website As usual the standard documents: NRIC, latest EPF statement or latest 3 months payslip. I always submit both EPF statement and 3 months payslip.

QUOTE(Jellymaker @ Oct 10 2015, 01:42 PM) Spend at Tesco online, Pay online -> TESCO MY 75001 PUCHONG (2%) Spend at Tesco online, Pay during delivery at doorstep-> TESCO PUCHONG-MPOS PUCHONG (2%) Swipe at Tesco Bukit Puchong counter -> TESCO BANDAR PUCHONG PUCHONG (2%) Tesco online not entitle for 5% In short, it is considered as groceries. QUOTE(lovefoe @ Oct 10 2015, 03:40 PM) I have SA with them. That's why I tried to link it to my cimbclicks account. I am using the option "Link my credit card" inside. If it can't link properly and requires a PIN, why having that functionality at all? I have an existing SA as well and my card was linked to my CIMB Click even before I received my card.

QUOTE(munkeyflo @ Oct 15 2015, 01:40 PM) I was offered the CIMB CR card few months back. The guy told me to email him my income documents. I did but receive SMS notification that it was rejected. Didn't bother much since I didn't really want the card then and hence didn't follow up. Recently thought about it again and decided that I should just get it since it's kinda hassle free and I do spend quite a bit on online shopping. Tried submitted via CIMBClicks but for whatever reason didn't get thru and it keeps emailing me to complete my submission. Finally went to submit the application form and documents on 6/10 at Sunway Pyramid branch, got SMS notification to collect my card on 12/10 It is quite easy to get this card. I keep it because there are quite a number of promos for CIMB.

QUOTE(munkeyflo @ Oct 15 2015, 05:25 PM) Yup yup. CIMB does have quite a number of promos. Plus no AF no minimum spend so just keep it for extra online spending. Yes, that's right. For now also keep it for online transactions below RM 50.
