although many experts disagree, i still use the same heavy duty normal vaccum cleaner

experts warn of static electric shock that may damage electronic components from using vaccum cleaner

verdict: 3 yrs and counting - no static death at all

Same goes to me, i've used that kind of method to clean my heatsink a lot of times, and up until today, nothing happen liao... thumbup.gif

But, the best way to clean a heatsink is to use a Jet Spray [Water Spray] the one that people use to clean those tar that is on the lower part of the car...

The strength of the jet spray will help you clean all those dust to zero point... thumbup.gif

There's two assumptions...

1) You're bios is corrupted which means you have to flash the bios
2) Ther CMOS battery is weak which means you have to replace the battery with a new one

Try flashing the bios to the newest version first, who knows that it might help...

If that won't do any good, try replacing the CMOS battery with a new one... wink.gif

May I noe what should I do if in case my flashing of bios is a failure?

Secondly, if i flash inside window, what background service do i need to shut it off?

Thirdly, may i noe whr can buy the battery for mb? Is there any requirement for that?

if ur mobo comes with BIOS recovery disc then u could use it to boot the system again and re-flash the bios....

basically there is no specific application that needed to be closed unless ur flashing tool requires it ...

i would also interested of getting the replacement battery ... anyone kind to help ....

Bro, the replacement battery can get at any hardware shop la... sweat.gif

Some kedai runcit also sells that kind of battery...

Just remember this model number of battery:

The model number is: CR2032 wink.gif

No need to think of the brand, as all brands of battery also use this model number for the battery that we use for the CMOS battery...

Remember the model number well...

It's CR2032 cool.gif

I've used it before in my previous Socket 478 3.0E [prescott]...

It works well, even better than CM Hyper 6+ rclxms.gif
