QUOTE(sHawTY @ Nov 3 2006, 10:57 PM) Not all of Pentium 4 2.8E is 800MHz with HT... E always refer to HT enabled cpu w/ Prescott coreA Pentium 4 2.8E with HT is a very rare occasion... There's a lot of 2.8E, but 75% of em is 533MHz which doesn't come with HT technology... it's Prescott 533 with HT that is *rare* and highly overclockable This post has been edited by lucifah: Nov 3 2006, 11:19 PM |

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Nov 3 2006, 11:24 PM) never got a chance to have a (famous) nickname - pentium D replaced p4 series at the timeTis is old news, but heck, these are some nicks for P4: A - Older, 1st gen P4 (willamette & northwood) - non HT (various FSB) B - non-HT Prescott (533) C - HT northwood (800) E - HT Prescott (800) |
