What you mean is 101,888 - for rebate if 7.5k with 3 yrs 60kkm service. How about the official 5 yrs free service on top of this?

There is no FREE 5 years service. You must mean the 5 Years Warranty (unlimited mileage). Warranty is different from service. Warranty comes in, when certain parts of the car is not working properly and you need fixing or parts replacement, which is FOC when your car is under warranty.

On the other hand, periodic service / maintenance is change of engine oil, oil filter, transmission oil, spark plug in order for the car and engine to run smoothly and not breakdown.

I still reading this thread half way done also the old V1 thread. Knowing from 2014 all KIA in Malaysia is CKD and no more S-KD. Any big quality shift so far? Hopefully never happen on KIA

I heard CKD T&H both being slayed bad bad in built and features is minimal. That is real bad. My friend told me in Sg, the vezel-Japan is far superior than HRV from Thai. So all bought the PI vezel unit and the quantity on the road can fight with Taxi!

I sent my car in at Batu Caves Service Center on 6/11/2016 to inspect on a rattling noise beneath the dashboard.(somewhere between the clock and radio)
They submitted a warranty claim and asked me to wait for approval. And told me that approval time may take up to 2 weeks. I already called them up to ask for the status, up until today it's still pending.

I cannot accept that the warranty approval need so much time to be approved, furthermore for such a small case. The HQ office is in Malaysia, not in Korea.
What if there is any major warranty claim in the future? Do I need to be car-less for a few weeks just for them to approve the claim?

It is better to have it changed at authorized service center, so as not to void the warranty. The cost of the fog lamp bulb should not be very high and should not be a concern.

I have heard of cases where owners had tempered with the head lamp, changing from normal halogen lamps to HID lamps. The 3rd party installers actually drill wire access holes thru the rear of the lamps and when he faced problem with the DRL (Day time running light) LED, his warranty claim was rejected.
