QUOTE(alvint89 @ Jan 11 2019, 11:08 AM) Latest news is that it might come in by 4th quarter at earliest, but subject to government approval on pricing. The present government has not act speedily on price approval and many car manufacturers have to push back their new model launches to later dates. Kia Malaysia is not spared and is still waiting for 3 new variants that they plan to introduce since late last year. Therefore, it is quite difficult to predict exact date for new model launches. |

QUOTE(alvint89 @ Feb 13 2019, 10:36 AM) Ah I hope Kia Malaysia brings the GT here, especially sedan. If they do, I'll be first in line to book it. 1.6 MPI Engine , sedan version is confirmed, it will be be launched sometime by 4th quarter this year, at earliest. We won't get the GT-line leafback/hatchback here, unfortunately. |

QUOTE(ccwang @ Feb 19 2019, 01:04 PM) If you search Mudah for 2019 Kia Cerato they are all: Current model Cerato YD-PE will still continue to be sold from now until the end of 3rd quarter at very attractive pricing as mentioned. All New Cerato BD is targeted for launching only in 4th quarter or early next year. Country of Origin: Korea, Manufactured year: 2019 Price is about RM88K while 2018 (Country of origin: Malaysia) is about RM83K Maybe Naza Kia stop assembly of current model and getting ready production of new model. In the mean time get CBU to replenish stock. Current Cerato YD-PE is under CKD program, not CBU from Korea. ![]() This post has been edited by Buydirect: Feb 19 2019, 01:16 PM |

QUOTE(rapple @ Mar 25 2019, 09:41 AM) Hi guys, i'm looking to replace my wife 2014 almera to 2014 Cerato. Any common problems for the 2014 batch that i need to look out for? Kia Cerato has been a very reliable car. However occasionally, the airbag indicator may light up after a few years, which is often caused by a faulty clock-spring on the steering. Do check on this. No other major problem mostly. Good luck and happy car hunting. |

QUOTE(shadow1143 @ Mar 28 2019, 07:56 PM) Hi everyone, I'm new owner of cerato , would like to ask 1) Most service center use Petronas and some Shell. 1. For the 1st service (1month/1000km whichever comes 1st) what engine oil is suggested? 2. For the stock hu unit, how do I have Android auto in it? Or any simple modification to make it more advanced? Thanks all 2) Stock head unit is not equipped with Android auto. But there is a mirror link function that you can use to connect your Waze from your smart phone. |

QUOTE(zuhaili87 @ Apr 5 2019, 06:01 PM) My front windshield cracked today at NKVE. It’s insured but may I know where can I change it? Any KIA branch can change it? Or must do outside? If you have insured sufficiently, eg 2.5K-3K, then best to go to KIA authorised service center to do it. If you do it at outside workshops eg Dr Cermin / Windscreen and many others, the cost is cheaper, but am not so sure about the quality. If any forumers had experience with outside windscreen repairer, please share. |

There are some Pre-Registered Kia Cerato Year make 2019 units going at very good offers now. Anyone interested ? Basically, they are brand new cars, but registered under the name of the company first, and later transfered to the new owner.
Some myth on Pre-registered cars 1) Resale value is lower compared to an unregistered unit The resale value is very dependant on the Year Make and condition of the car at the point of sale, not so much on the past and number of previous ownership 2) Warranty not valid The warranty shall be transferred to the next owner and valid for 5 years from the date of registration 3) Plate number registered cannot be changed Usually, a nice number has been chosen for the plate number for the car. However, it is still possible to change the number thru a number interchange process but some cost for the interchange shall apply. 4) The pre-registered car is a test drive / showroom car. In this specific case, the cars are NOT , they are basically brand new physically with mileage clocked only from the testing done at the factory, prior to shipment to the sales outlet. QUOTE(godsboy77 @ Apr 13 2019, 12:51 PM) Hi im considering Kia Cerato 1.6sx 2019 new. My main concerns are the spare part availability and time taken to claim warranty and slight concern on RV. An owner told me over a forum that he waited for 3 months to get his brake pad. Is this true. Need kind advice to make decision.Tq There are parts available for Kia Cerato for sure, as they are already thousands of units of Cerato on the road. What you heard from the owner may be just confined that particular outlet or location or perhaps for that particular time, am not sure, as don't know the whole picture. |
